A-36 Apache
Some history:
A-36 Apaches saw combat in June 1943 in North Africa, flying directly towards the island of Pantelleria. The island fell under Allied attack and became a base for A-36s during the Allied invasion of Sicily. . The A-36 had proven to be very effective as a dive bomber. First flew in October 1942 and was retired in 1945.
The only A-36 of the RAF (EW998).
The aircraft it's armed with:
- Two M2 Browning in the nose
- Two M2 Browning in each wing
- Gun pod with two M2 Browning in each wing
Controls:
- Change vision position to try to see under the nose with Activate 2
- Extend air brakes with Activate 4
Flight perfomance:
(All the perfomance without the suspended armament)
Max speed in a straight line at 3000 ft: 346 mph / 556 km/h
Turn time at 300 mph:
- Vertical: 18 s
- Horizontal: 15 s
Speed to take off:
- Without gunpods 132 mph / 212 km/h
- With gunpods: 139 mph / 223 km/h
Others:
- A-36 Apache (500 lb)
- Mustang Mk IA
I didn't know how to fix the flaps (Still it works well to lose speed).
If you want, remove the gun pods to be more maneuverable

The ground Stang
@Krikkit42 :(
@Stephen22 Too little time. I’ve been working on builds on and off but couldn’t bring myself to finish either of them so far. They’ll come… eventually. 😉
@Krikkit42 why don't you post anymore
Hey, cool little build. Just noticed the issue with the flaps. The problem is that SP physics doesn’t recognize extra control surfaces made from wing parts in the position where flaps would typically be located. There are two ways of fixing this:
ah, yes, the low-altitude mustang.
I've probably rammed this thing into the ground in war thunder lol
can you build ME 262
