Summary
The Bandit C-25 Llama is a Paternian tactical cargo aircraft. Designed to provide Army and Marine Corps aviation with greater company-level logistical capacity; while helicopters and tiltrotors are excellent at initially bringing in and then performing initial supply due to their VTOL capabilities, they are slower and more expensive to operate than fixed-wing aircraft.
Capable of carrying 11.5 tons of supplies and equipment, they could also carry up to 60 seated soldiers, 45 paratroopers, or 36 patients on litters. They could do so for at least 3,500 kilometers at a stately speed of about 300 miles per hour.
The Paternian Air Force did not procure the Llama due to the nature of the aircraft; the scope of the type's mission was not in line with the Air Force's logistical responsibilities.
