(works best on PC) To fire main cannon go into cockpit view and activate joystick mode (rmb), then go into air-to-ground and activate AG1. This will allow you to aim where you want and fire at what you want. To fire front mount turret activate AG2 and use VTOL slider to control its direction. To fire rear mount turrets activate AG3, go into air-to-gorund, and use VTOL slider to aim. To launch sub-terrainian missiles activate AG4 and AG5 (make sure you are aimed at target, they only go in one direction). Driving is default.
