Can-Am started out as a race series for group 7 sports racers with two races in Canada (Can) and four races in the United States of America (Am). The series was initially sponsored by Johnson Wax. The series was governed by rules called out under the FIA group 7 category with unrestricted engine capacity and few other technical restrictions.
RULES
-1 an "anything goes" policy. As long as the car had two seats, bodywork enclosing the wheels, and met basic safety standards Also Up To 1000 Horsepower Or Even 1500
-2 for sports cars; the regulations are minimal and permitted unlimited engine sizes (and allowed turbocharging and supercharging),
-3 Please Don't Make Your Car Unrealistically Fast This Will End In A Disqualification
-4 No Stealing Others Builds
-5 Fuselage only blocks may be used for certain detail but most of it has to be fuselage
-6 No Mods
-7 No Part Count Over 1100
-8 Must Be Successor
