Auto Credit Based on Astro12's Unusual design plane challenge [Closed]
In the 1960s, Mikoyan Gurevich put forward a design for a revolutionary fighter plane.
Similar to the Salmon and Pogo types designed in the US, the MiG-V did away with the need for runways by taking off vertically. Plans were for aircraft on trailers stationed around East Germany, which could be launched to intercept a nuclear attack, and moved around with ease.
-Weird because there have been very few planes like this, design choices in the description
-AG-1 for the Gyroscope, recommended for landing.
