Me P.1102
During the Second World War, inGermany research already carried out into the possibility of using adjustable wings. Messerschmitt developed for this purpose, the Me P.1102 series. It worked then even the Me P.1101project. The Me P.1102 was developed as a fast bomber and Zerstörer. The wings were arranged in the middle of the fuselage. These could be set at a position of arrow 15 to 50 degrees. The wings were set at 20 degrees for take off and landing. For flights at high speeds, the score was 50 degrees. The tail section was of a standard configuration with an arrow position of 60 degrees. The aircraft was equipped with three jet engines . There were two against the bottom of the fuselage nose placed. The third was placed in the tail.For this, there was an air inlet disposed in the tail section.
