history
The dernber dr-8 was the result of a contract for a new high speed reconnaissance aircraft that had the capability of supersonic speeds at 20,000 feet and above. This was the stand out with its simple construction and maneuverability as the for runner in the contract. It was given a small contract for testing purposes and excelled at all of its trials. It was formally given a contract to mass produce the DR-8.

The pitch is nuts! holy crap you should see how maneuverable it is. Its insane the g's this thing can pull. When you want high maneuverability wait til your at 800mph and just yank the pitch all the way back and see how good it is.
This was for a challenge so I'm going to make another one that isn't for a challenge and put a gun on it.

@Planeacceleration true, I do like to go full speed and just yank the stick. It can do a full roll in like 5 seconds. Way unrealistic especially for a reconnaissance aircraft. Crap I forgot to link the fighter! I'll have to do that tomorrow.

Nice mate! The only thing I would suggest is putting the air break just inside the fuselage to make it look more sleek, and painting it to give it a more neutral color that doesn't stand out. Flyes pretty well! Good job!
