The Lockheed CL-1201 and Lockheed CL-1203 were supposed to be large flying aircraft carriers for the USA, designed in 1969. The main reason why they were never built was becuase the wingspan would of been over 1100 feet, and would need to be powered by a nuclear genorator near the back. This is not a scale model, but i am working in a 1:2 scale, but having some problems, mainly with the size and the thrust. The actual aircrafts would be VTOL aircrafts, since they were so large, but I could not easily make this VTOL, so it takes off and lands like a normal plane would.
