@FilenotFound Yes,very strange! if you want to tinker some more, just let me know which your official entry is, until the 7th. With the VTOL blades I've been using the HOTAS and controller at the same time... I need two more hands! :D
@Flash0of0green Blender is free, there are very likely many more, but Blender is pretty powerful, especially for importing into Unity (the program used to make mods) it is pretty seamless.
@AudioDud3 Thank you! What shall I add? I was thinking about some models on the top shelf. (What I really wanted, and is currently beyond my ability is to show the 3 most recently used "models" on the top of the workbench.)
Perhaps some tools... SPONTANEOUS TOOL VOTE! What tools on the bench? (Everyone feel free to pipe in!)
@FilenotFound This is true, that's why it the technical hybrids still have a helios, or spinny apparatus, and is a bit ambiguous, but I'll allow the grey area!
@Tully2001 I never like how sliced they seem to get, and I haven't put in the time to tinker with it. Yours do work well, I'm sure you spent some time getting it just right.
if you send me a link to a Unity Build with just the skybox panels in it, adjusted to your magical formula; I will use it and mark you as a contributor in any designer mod that utilizes it.
@FilenotFound That's fine, I love ingenuity! I am more purpose oriented than how it's gone about. I test by taking off Vertically, attacking a pre-determined target, and return to base successfully, landing vertically. You could technically make a VTOL hybrid as pave has done, as long as it accomplishes the mission.
I like it! Though it is VERY sensitive! I've never built a quad copter, so I don't know how to stabilize it; but I would think if you brought your rotors up it would help. Feel free to resubmit until the 7th!
@WNP78 Oh, awesome! Forgive my naivety! I really like the use of code here, I wonder if you could use a similar pattern to "refine" complex parts? To make more efficient versions of complex parts? (for the SP engine)
@AV8R That certainly is a valid point, and with the way it currently is (as @WPN78 pointed out), it is attainable by anyone wanting to put as much effort into the initial learning as beginning pixel art, so the filtering -by-motivation system is still in place as well, so it is just fine in it's present state. Thanks for the candid discourse!
@pavthepilot I like how the forward gun responds to yaw! It flies well, though she is a bit unsteady and the yaw is not very powerful for maneuvering, so I end up banking a bit like a plane a bit. I really like it's compact size and the cockpit fuselage transition design! If you keep tinkering, feel free to link me to the newest submission until the 7th!
@AV8R I don't disagree, I just love to foster and share ingenuity. Most things in nature favor one path or another, but this is often largely due to the environment and the challenges they face.
Joco80 has been tenacious in earning points and in being involved in the community, and I wonder who are the fastest newer players in this aspect?
SO back to the environment thing, this post is very unique for the context of the environment, thus it garners lots of attention, and upvotage by proxy.
I think we can all agree that this style of building is certainly not designed to be an aerodynamic, low-part build; and as such it offers no threat to the building of elegant aircraft. Perhaps it's because as a community was have gotten so much better at designing aircraft (and such), that descent aircraft don't garner the attention they once did.
What I'm encouraging then, is to "give the kids the car keys" so to speak, and encourage a saturation of this type of building; which will exhaust the fuel of attention of this type of building more rapidly. Which I don't actually expect to see, since this novelty is garnering LOTS of attention! My bet is that it will be an open mod, when the fuel is used; but this is purely speculation. :D
I am most impressed by how Joco80 can observe a trend and act on it so adroitly though networking and community!
@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Thank you! :)
@MAHADI Mad like a loon, Wabbit!
@AudioDud3 Yeah, there are also body hammers with all sorts of heads, even square-flat!
Check This!
Thank you for the compliment, I hope you enjoy!
@MAHADI What's "Up"? Up is a myth spread by naive observations, of other objects falling "down" rather than toward the center of mass. :D
@DeezDucks Thanks! I like how it makes everything feel like a VERY detailed model build as well, I'm glad you enjoy it!
@septicfoot Maybe, they keep crashing!
On the 7th of the month!
@jamesPLANESii :D Thanks!
@PorkyClown3
Linky Broken, what's up?
@BritishNarwhal7 I suppose I could try!
@CaesiciusPlanes I thought no man's sky was suffering from palette loss lately!
@CaesiciusPlanes Roger, roger.
@MAHADI When wasn't it?! :D
@MAHADI Yes and Yes! :D We need a chopper just to get up there!
@FilenotFound Yes,very strange! if you want to tinker some more, just let me know which your official entry is, until the 7th. With the VTOL blades I've been using the HOTAS and controller at the same time... I need two more hands! :D
@CaesiciusPlanes Ok, neon Tron Future; or Basic colors with bright spots for accent?
Think This vs This
@Flash0of0green Certainly, anytime!
@AudioDud3 By a denting hammer, do you mean a bodywork hammer, or a ball-peen? Thanks! I added a drawknife to the list as well.
Most of the time they work fine, just every once in awhile firing a rocket destroys the craft.
.@septicfoot Cool Idea! I'll put it on a card!

@Thecoltster1 Thank you very much!
@helilover03 :D@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation RIght on, Thank you!
@helilover03 :D
@GermanAircrafts Build that, and I'll buy you a pizza.
@GermanAircrafts Woah, that link?!
You should see This Link!

@CaesiciusPlanes What are your thoughts? Color palette? How far in the future? Streampunk rebuilding future, or Sleek Shiny Future?
No Problem! Fun Build!
I like it! Rockets sometimes blow me up though...
Well, let's take this whirly-gig for a spin!
@BogdanX Wow! That seal pup sure looks strange without fur! I'm glad you like!
@Tully2001 Roger that, I have a set-up I can change to that.
@FilenotFound This is true, that's why it the technical hybrids still have a helios, or spinny apparatus, and is a bit ambiguous, but I'll allow the grey area!

@Alienbeef0421 Second! :D

@Joco80 Thank you, it just kind of happened!
@RedstoneAeroAviation Somebody help that dragon!
Just caffeine and adrenaline! (And perhaps the odd cerveza!)

Nice build, now to try it out, thanks for the submission!
@pavthepilot Whoo hoo!
