I think this would work better at a far lower wing loading, this is basically a powered hang glider, and hang gliders have really really low wing loading. This would probably also fix the problem of unstable control at different speeds
The P-61 has a special place in my heart, It was the first warbird replica I ever build in SP and it was also the first plastic model
I ever built and took seriously, I have invested over 30 Hours of my life into this plane and this is one of the most efficient and beautiful renditions I’ve seen, anyway enough long words. @Hedero
I do have a couple suggestions I’d like to point out just because:
The P-61 is actually not black, but very very dark navy blue (most people don’t know this and some restores are overlooked and black nowadays)
Your props are way too fat, they should have about 1.7 thickness instead of 3.0
I think the flaps defect too far but I haven’t looks up the real P-61 Deflection Angles

Sorry, but this isn’t a real walker. It works fine but please don’t advertise it as something it isn’t. It barely walks at 4 mph without the jet engines that simply turn it into a sled
Thanks, no problem. @randomusername
What’s weird is that I haven’t thought about this project or seen it on years it just last night a got back into researching how it works...
It does definitely work, and I Spotlighted and Upvoted it because of its amazing looks. But it doesn’t fly like in the movies, where it’s snappy and agile @Wakescar @DethFromAbove
Everything looks good except, please do not use bolts to mount the wings, use glue like everything else. Those bolts will end up doubling the weight of the plane. Trust me, I know I’ve made gliders like this before
First of all, you can’t set guns to different inputs anyways...
But you can do an excellent exhaust effect with jet engines inside the pipe, look at my Martin Patriot or my Martin Explorer for an example
Neat configuration design, it’s creative and I like it a lot. Tag me before the release so I can give feedback and help you improve its quality. It has great potential.
Thanks @rexzion
+1Back it
+1Yay
+1This ain’t possible due to apple’s policy @JTsong

+1I know, surprisingly fun, right? @CRJ900Pilot
+1Now imagine a fleet of 10 of them in MP racing through the dunes at maywar
Asian singles in your area @jamesPLANESii
+1If you are breaking the rules, leave...
+1No James, watching your jet stream grow is the only sport we have left
+1I 100% agree, I simply remember collaborating with SR on my DR.1 and having issue with Yaw Deflection and dogfights. @BogdanX

Ha, I already own 3 Copies of SP, one of aero effect, and two of SR2 @AstleyIndustries
+1Not directly I don't think
+1No Upvotes for people who use the chase view, orbit view is the king!
+1?
+1Yup @Whuy59
+1H E Y
+1@jamesPLANESii
+1Everything is canceled to keep it from getting to the point where we need to panic

+1It gets off the ground but it doesn’t fly “extremely well” It is as maneuverable as a brick, TIEs are supposed to be maneuverable @DethFromAbove
+1And you’re still light speed compared to me @jamesPLANESii
+1Probably because you haven’t put effort into a decent build for like 1.9 years @MyMessage
+1Why did I win he first match and the second match had no results? That is very unfair!
+1Are you coming back?

+1Beautiful
+1CoM should be in front of the CoL
+1Center of mass close to center of lift, wing loading of like 3.0 to 7.0 lbs/sqft
+1Probably not coming, maybe for SimpleRockets2
+1These aren’t as bad as some others I’ve seen

Lamest video quality ever lol, it's like 2 fps
+1Epic
+1No thanks
+1@SSSvaSSa
+1Because of the funny bone... the fizz feeling @SledDriver
+1Please remove the present day requirement, it kills all the cool replicas from the 50s
+1No, it was the first manned powered controllable heavier than air flying machine though @ErichVonLudendorff
+1Helicopter engines are currently the only part in the game that simulate ground effect
+1I have a Ender 3! I love it. I should make some plane parts. I build FliteTest planes irl
+1That’s the point. The whole idea is to take your idea of a truck and throw it out the window @AdlerSteiner
+1So this is a SP tabloid... ok...
