@Mustang51 once you start working in the app and learn how to manipulate it more it becomes easier. I started playing it with my kids then found that it helps with my fine muscle coordination and that helps with my MS so I keep on doing it
@Jurassicty060 you mean why so many Soviet Aircraft? Quite simple they are generally more simplistic in real life, less compound curves and more easier straight lines to have to try and replicate.
@Mattthepilot12 it’s still simple to me and has the same number of parts you had used. I just dressed it up a little to get it back to the same number of parts
I try to get them proportional to the real thing as I can. I also have some strangeness that occurs when I scale the sizes too much and things get a little wonky corruption seems to occur and the parts count doubles on me and flight becomes impossible. It also helps to keep them smaller as I use an iPhone to make them on and scaling up makes it run really slow.
@RAAF after days of working on one for you I had to delete that mostly finished one as somehow it got corrupted and started duplicating all the parts and I had to delete it and start over so I just posted the work in profess Yak-2
@Tang0five I tried multiple arrangements finally found a solution using an actual canon on a plane can be a little touchy.. but trial and error got it done.
@Mustang51 yeah the more I messed with it to get the balance right and correct the flat spins it would go into it lost some of the shaping and I decided that it’s recognizable and it now turns right leave it be..
Need a little help here the plane has a propensity to flat spin during tight maneuvering. I have played with weight and wing locations but still it’s flat spinning...
@Mustang51 how do I add them from my iPhone? I would love to be able to but so far I can only see how to do it by building them from scratch and it’s really hard with rounded surfaces
@Mustang51 I love X planes but want to choose as many historical builds as I can. Kind of run through a series from one nation at a time not really intentional but you do one then another from that country catch your eye and so on.
@Trainzo I would love to see stickers in this app like USAF stickers or Russian Marking stickers I prefer to do small scale stuff and markings and super fine details are really hard sometimes
If anybody can help me get the weighting right I would appreciate it right now it wants to dive and you have to trim it to keep it level. Difficult to get the balance it’s so short and stubby
@Mustang51 Thx I do like this build. I always loved the P-38 as a kid it was my favorite plane.
+1@Mustang51 once you start working in the app and learn how to manipulate it more it becomes easier. I started playing it with my kids then found that it helps with my fine muscle coordination and that helps with my MS so I keep on doing it
+1@Mustang51 thx I try to make them simple and enjoyable and to keep them as accurate as possible at the same time.
+1@MEERKAT978 thx the wings are slightly wider but when I had shorter wing span it would enter flat spins while turning with yaw input.
+1@Jurassicty060 you mean why so many Soviet Aircraft? Quite simple they are generally more simplistic in real life, less compound curves and more easier straight lines to have to try and replicate.
+1@randomusername Thx this one took a little longer than I expected to get it close to right.
+1@Mustang51 thx it was fun trying to research and get as much details as I could
+1@RYMA232Aeronautics yeah is an interesting plane the cockpit is not quite accurate but virtually impossible to replicate on this small svale
+1@JetKwan I cleaned it up parts wise and changed the wing geometry. You did a great job with it at first so it was pretty easy to tweak it.
+1@Mattthepilot12 it’s still simple to me and has the same number of parts you had used. I just dressed it up a little to get it back to the same number of parts
@TitanIncorporated yeah been busy and honestly this is the first shareable plane I have made in a long time
@RAAF the only difference is wing length armaments, engines same. I guess I could just call it a G1 but the differences are negligible.

@Mustang51 thx I try to make them as realistic as I can
@Mustang51 thx I think I did a better job on the ME-110 personally but couldn’t quit match it on the Dornier
@RAAF maybe I am working on a HE-162 right now.
@RAAF NP unfortunately the he first one I made that got corrupted was much much better but had to go back to a save point and build this one.
@RAAF it’s kinda crappy right now it’s going to take me a bit to refine it and make it nice
@RAAF after days of working on one for you I had to delete that mostly finished one as somehow it got corrupted and started duplicating all the parts and I had to delete it and start over so I just posted the work in profess Yak-2
@RAAF thx that is what I am trying to do it’s get as much detail as I can in a small plane built on my phone
@Tang0five I tried multiple arrangements finally found a solution using an actual canon on a plane can be a little touchy.. but trial and error got it done.
@Trainzo thx it took me awhile to figure out how to mount the hub canon with out blowing up the plane
@Mustang51 thx it’s an interesting plane the lower machine gun basket is not great on this build but it’s really tough to build with this scale
@Mustang51 yeah the more I messed with it to get the balance right and correct the flat spins it would go into it lost some of the shaping and I decided that it’s recognizable and it now turns right leave it be..
@Sm10684 because I messed up when I put it up but it’s not really finished and I need help figuring out why it’s flat spinning during hard maneuvers
@Sm10684 the plane is going to be Focke Wulf 190D the long nose V-12 Fw-190
Need a little help here the plane has a propensity to flat spin during tight maneuvering. I have played with weight and wing locations but still it’s flat spinning...
@Mustang51 thanks the last update makes it possible to adjust the cockpit size that makes all the difference in the world.
Revised my original plane after latest update allowed me to change the size of cockpits
@RAAF when I finish it I am
Working on a Vickers Wellesley GR MK. IV I will post it that has big wings
@RAAF I can take a crack at it
@Mustang51 how do I add them from my iPhone? I would love to be able to but so far I can only see how to do it by building them from scratch and it’s really hard with rounded surfaces
@BlackhattAircraft its a cool plane
@Mustang51 Thx I saw it and wanted to build it the hard part was getting it balanced to fly correctly
@Mustang51 I grew up loving planes, military planes especially and am a WW2 history buff.
@Mustang51 we used to compete to build the fastest or highest flying planes but as they got older they lost interest.
@Mustang51 well when you use the app on your iPhone xml modeling is a little hard.
@Mustang51 if they had clam shell control surfaces it would be easy
@Mustang51 check out my Do 17, Me 110 and FW-154
@Mustang51 oh I have lots of luftwaffe planes already
@Mustang51 I love X planes but want to choose as many historical builds as I can. Kind of run through a series from one nation at a time not really intentional but you do one then another from that country catch your eye and so on.
@Mustang51 the link is not letting me click on it but I will try checkout your profile.
@Tainzo thx it’s a hard plane to get proportionally with the turret.
@Trainzo thx!!
@Trainzo I would love to see stickers in this app like USAF stickers or Russian Marking stickers I prefer to do small scale stuff and markings and super fine details are really hard sometimes
@MaxB17 yeah sure go for it.. I finally gave up on making it really well balanced it flys well enough for me when trimmed
If anybody can help me get the weighting right I would appreciate it right now it wants to dive and you have to trim it to keep it level. Difficult to get the balance it’s so short and stubby
@tang0five great plane I have been struggling for a long time to make a Ju-88... the cockpit gets me every time. He 111 is a tough one also
@james yeah I messed up on this one usually I do.. was worried I failed to upload due to no network and forgot to change it from Airplane to I-16
@CRJ900Pilot thx now if I can only spell I would be golden.
