@MajorSix no I just downloaded and went. Idk I think uploading can break stuff sometimes. Or maybe it's cause you used shocks which by the way is genius aesthetically but they like to do weird things when you scale them.
Man this community is coming up with too many good challenges. I've got 3 challenge builds in the works right now. Oh well make that 4 I'm in. I'll do a German medium fighter.
@ollielebananiaCFSP That makes me curious then, I assumed that the limitations with running simple planes was mostly in processing power rather than graphical power due to all the Aero calculations. Do you just have a good/optimised processor or am I grossly misunderstanding things? Or just underestimating what you can get to run?
@LieutenantSOT yeah the original one with the wheels is my actual entry. Its a little better than this one performance wise cause it doesn't have a 1000 lb pontoon hanging off the bottom.
@LieutenantSOT thanks a lot. Btw sorry I forgot this was still saved as a successor to your challenge. Don't mean to clutter up your list. Obviously this one isn't another entry haha.
@Skyhawkarmy idk you just gotta mess around with the shapes until it looks the way you want. Use lots of pictures and reference material. There's not really any hard and fast rules or methods. That's what makes this game so awesome! Think of it like Lego. You have to figure out how to use the limited shapes you have to make the unique shapes you want
@Jaspy109 I'm not sure if that's a uniquely British design. If so oh well umm we will say that Japanese spies were stealing British aircraft secrets and they decided they liked that stick design.
@LieutenantSOT My Japanese plane will be a prop fighter but if I finish early I will do a heavy fighter with mixed propulsion. Japanese planes just don't look right without a giant nose cowl.
Just to be clear on weights/ sizes, would you consider the Mitsubishi A6M Zero a medium or light fighter? That's what I'm using as a yardstick for the size and weight but I can scale it up if you think a Zero is too small.
I think I need a good challenge right now. I'll do a Japanese medium fighter. Just double checking jets are fine as long as power and speed is realistic? If so it will be a jet.
Edit: Nevermind the jet thing it wouldn't be realistic since they never actually deployed a jet fighter.
@tsampoy yeah I wasnt really worrying about part efficiency with these. Just going for as much detail as possible before my phone caught fire. And I have learned that cooling fins are bad for part count.
@Arandomburrito There's no pivot point at the centre of the axles. A live axle system like what you made requires a pivot point so that the left and right wheels move up and down semi independently. If you drive your truck on the proving grounds you will notice that when the right wheel is on a bump, the left wheel is also lifted. Im not trying to crpa all over you either I think your build is cool. Just not as realistic as you say.

Also does it have to be a biplane? There were a number of monoplane fighters in WW1.
@Chrisk1993 can I do a seaplane or does it have to take off from land?

Pssst......I think you missed a connection or 2 in the general engine area. Cool though.
Cool challenge I'll do it.
@superTT yeah man, I agree

It is in a video game.
@AWESOMENESS360 meh you'd be surprised what can run on a potato. Although I don't suspect that it would work so well with a 1000 part build.
@MajorSix I'm not sure actually the one I have saved is straight. Maybe I hit an undo before I shared it by accident or something.
Idk why I gave him a helmet he just explodes anyway.
@LieutenantSOT yeah the original one with the wheels is my actual entry. Its a little better than this one performance wise cause it doesn't have a 1000 lb pontoon hanging off the bottom.
I'm just gonna make a flaming dumpster. I feel like that's gonna end up being pretty accurate for 2021.
+1@LieutenantSOT thanks a lot. Btw sorry I forgot this was still saved as a successor to your challenge. Don't mean to clutter up your list. Obviously this one isn't another entry haha.
Dude your cars are awesome. Im working my butt off trying to get better at car bodies and you're keeping me motivated here!
Wow really nice cockpit. and everything else but I have a thing for making interiors.
+1@PapaKernels thanks i think it's my best plane yet
@Lixcuudis thanks I'm glad someone read it. Thought it might be too wordy haha

@Skyhawkarmy I guess you don't have to but I wanted the points for the description.
@Jaspy109 I'm not sure if that's a uniquely British design. If so oh well umm we will say that Japanese spies were stealing British aircraft secrets and they decided they liked that stick design.
Woohoo my Japanese fighter is done! I'm really proud of it I think it turned out awesome.
Yo put me down for a British Heavy Fighter as well I'm putting the finishing touches on my first entry so I should have time for another one.
@LieutenantSOT My Japanese plane will be a prop fighter but if I finish early I will do a heavy fighter with mixed propulsion. Japanese planes just don't look right without a giant nose cowl.
Do a barrel roll
@LieutenantSOT yeah I'm not doing a Zero copy just using it as a general guide for size. Thanks!
Just to be clear on weights/ sizes, would you consider the Mitsubishi A6M Zero a medium or light fighter? That's what I'm using as a yardstick for the size and weight but I can scale it up if you think a Zero is too small.

Oh nice well it's in my subassembly folder now. @Redisnotsusguys
@Cyan is a Jake Paul noise just a really stupid statement?
@Embo okay cool I thought it was thanks for clearing that up.
How did you make the person a single part?
Mines done. It's almost a plane.
@Embo Yeah. You can't say it on YouTube.
@Embo I think that's a bad word now too
Will it still be a successor if I change to a different style cockpit?
@MintLynx Sweet.
+1You mind if I put an engine in it? I've been wanting to build a rotary
+5@RedZ0ne haha should have read your profile. Guess you didn't need to do that one.
Needs more guns.
Isn't everyone's first plane ever the tutorial plane? Good job though.
+1@tsampoy yeah I wasnt really worrying about part efficiency with these. Just going for as much detail as possible before my phone caught fire. And I have learned that cooling fins are bad for part count.
Instructions were unclear. I exploded
@Elonsmusk your spaceship exploded
Awesome. Flying boats are sweet. I always mix up Talespin and The Rescuers. Talespin is the one with the bear right?
@Grogu Haha you got em rapid fire too. You crazy man. Thanks!
@Grogu he hit me. With the fish.

Your suspension doesn't work though.
