adding weapons and a multiplayer (which would be awesome) wouldn't change the fact that it is an educational game, if anything it would make it more educational, players would start designing planes with the real world in mind, where maneuverability, speed, and so many other things play a huge roll. Perhaps they could even add a sub buildshop in the SimplePlanes app just for designing your own missiles and bombs. I totally think weapons would be an awesome addition. @Delphinus @PhilipTarpley
@nathanmikeska @PhilipTarpley @WeeBabySeamus in the update vid you said "So if you're technically savvy, download our tools and start making custom parts and and levels today..." are those tools available for OS X and if so where may I find such a treat as this.
I definetly wouldn't say that, you have some awesome builds, I think the simplicity of this new update sort of made us all a bit lazy, I was really tempted to make something a lot like this, just a cylinder, because I could barely do that before and now it's super easy, your building skills are geat.
Looks cool, sort of like a 1980s europlane or something, but just being honest, it looks extremely simple, I guess sort of like a plane from the 1980's; grab a cylinder and a cockpit and some wings, then stick a rocket to it and see how fast it goes :)
Which direction do I fly to reach the new Island when I take off from the south runway? I guess my iPod doesn't have a strong enough graphics card to show the other island off in the distance. @Shmexysmpilot
Thanks for the input @shmexysmpilot I should have done more extensive testing, all I tested was the bomb drop, top speed at a higher altitude (925 mph), and basic flight controls.

thanks for the suggestion and yeah it would be nice. (you spelled geat wrong ;) )
I think I'll try this https://www.reddit.com/r/SimplePlanes/wiki/modding

I was just thinking about making a Boeing 314

nvm, I just switched from HD/Users to HD/Library... I see what I'm supposed to see though when I click on Guest instead of my name
I found library on "Macintosh HD" but now no containers
the name that I use for the computer? if so there's no "library" folder
yep, where do I do that, do I just type that in?
sorry, I've been with apple for so long, I've never really had to do this kind of stuff, so sorry for my ignorance
where do i do that?
well, I've opened notepad, have no clue how to find the file
not yet, sorry just checked my notification @SpiritusRaptor
awesome plane and brilliant vid
nvm you already said it was on the app store, so I guess it is...
is it on the app store? and is there a longer name that I can use to search for it?
very cool plane, maybe
any suggestions for my next build?
I've actually changed my other usernames to match it @tominator
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/texteditor-text-editor-file/id1023296790?mt=12 how about that one?
thanks. is it hard to learn how to use? and do i just open NOTE and search for simple planes files? @SpiritusRaptor

very cool
don't know why I never rated this, its awesome
looks great, I'd like a bit more detail though, at least enough to identify which airbus it is
