  • LTV A-7B Corsair II 5.2 years ago

    @Evenstsrike333 It's on the to-do list somewhere. I already want to make one because I had a previous F-15 and...ugh, I can't look at that one anymore. X)

  • Vought F8U-2NE (F-8E) Crusader 5.2 years ago

    @LockheedLover OOOoooooo, I'd love to make a bomber! Just...gotta figure out the bomb bay X)

  • Vought F8U-2NE (F-8E) Crusader 5.2 years ago

    @LockheedLover Okie
    .
    Did you have a request, by chance?

  • LTV A-7B Corsair II 5.2 years ago

    @BlackhattAircraft So about that A-7 you mentioned...

  • Vought F8U-2NE (F-8E) Crusader 5.2 years ago

    @LockheedLover @AerialFighterSnakes Aww jeez...maybe tone down the praise a little bit; I'm not a great builder by any means, I just do the best I can and add the features I feel need to be there. I always want to improve.
    .
    @LockheedLover To answer you specifically, I did build a Harrier II for one user, but generally I'll just add it to the "list" so to speak. I've gotten requests for AC builds and a Super Hornet before.

  • Vought F8U-2NE (F-8E) Crusader 5.2 years ago

    @Leehopard Happens with my A-6E too; flaperon roll control when flaps down is baically useless. Thankfully the A-6 has spoilerons that somewhat help, but I still can't figure out how to get custom ailerons to be as responaive as normal ones.

  • Vought F8U-2NE (F-8E) Crusader 5.2 years ago

    @BlackhattAircraft Funny you say that...

  • Vought F8U-2NE (F-8E) Crusader 5.2 years ago

    @FranzPeterSiegfried Most parts I've needed for a build was the F-4B at 400 parts flat. I'm proud to say I've been able to get away with decently low part counts on my replicas

  • Republic F-105D Thunderchief 5.3 years ago

    @ChiChiWerx Indeed.

  • Republic F-105D 5.3 years ago

    @HawkerAviation Aww thanks. I have far too many projects on the brain and it's killing my productivity x)

  • Well 5.3 years ago

    @Kungfuevan I'm gonna redo the Su-27 first with Designersuite, then do the Su-30MKI. So it'll be a while

  • A10 5.3 years ago

    @HighOnSP Have an upvote too :)

  • NATF Program Challenge (CLOSED) 5.3 years ago

    Could you explain the weapon requirement, because I'm getting confused if you mean stock SP weapons or stuff that was supplied with this post

  • Northrop F-5A Freedom Fighter 5.3 years ago

    @Datboi1234 4 Also had it. However that was the -5E Tiger II, so slightly different. This is the original -5A 'Freedom Fighter.'
    .
    But I get ye

  • Sukhoi Su-27P Flanker-B 5.3 years ago

    @DemXu Sure.

  • McDonnell F4H-1 Phantom II 5.3 years ago

    @XthehungrymigetX Not sure where it got that bias. I probably could have done some mirroring work to make it disappear, but I'm willing to deal with the roll. Glad you like it though.

  • McDonnell F4H-1 Phantom II 5.3 years ago

    @emilydyer455 I do have a Hornet planned, but it's a two-seat legacy Hornet. Maybe I can do a Super Hornet, but no promises.

  • McDonnell F4H-1 Phantom II 5.3 years ago

    @Roswell @Bife @Kungfuevan Thank you

  • McDonnell F4H-1 Phantom II 5.3 years ago

    @0644701018 Not an 4E; this lacks the longer nose and gun ;)

  • Grumman A-6E Intruder 5.4 years ago

    @Shippy456 Kind words of you. Thanks

  • Grumman A-6E Intruder 5.4 years ago

    @AnoniMosu It was called 'The Flying Drumstick' for a reason.

  • Grumman A-6E Intruder 5.4 years ago

    @ChiChiWerx I just balanced it nose-heavy. I should've put trim on the tailplanes but I was tired and forgot to do it.

  • SimpleWings 5.4 years ago

    Oooooo...interesting.

  • Dassault Mirage F1C 5.4 years ago

    @ainanen No problem. Was nice to build a jet that wasn't American or Russian for once x)

  • Dassault Mirage IIICJ 5.5 years ago

    @ChiyomiAnzai Thank you. I've always liked the look of the Mirage III. In addition I've tried to make a tailless delta-wing work in game for quite some time now; I'm glad to say I've finally gotten both to work.

  • Microsoft is Returning to Flight Simulation!!! (NOT CLICK BAIT) 5.5 years ago

    @Ryn176 Welcome to FSX: Steam Edition xD

  • Botadonian Fighter - Volaticotherium 5.5 years ago

    Again, not a delta. This is a highly swept wing in a tailless configuration, but still kewl

  • Botadonian Bomber - Pterosaur 5.5 years ago

    Not really a delta-wing; more of a flying wing, but cool

  • Dassault Mirage F1C 5.5 years ago

    @0644701018
    .
    We'll have to see. Jets with more complex shapes like the F-22A, J-20, X-02, etc. take more time for me both in planning and building. Plus I'm not sure how stable I can make the Wyvern lel
    .
    One day :)

  • Mirage Challenge (CLOSED - July 6th) 5.5 years ago

    Would custom missiles for the Magic, Matra, etc count towards the sub-assembly penalty? Are weapons/stores allowed at all, or are we doing clean configuration only?

  • North American P-51C Mustang 5.5 years ago

    Mmm, another good looking razorback Mustang :3

  • EWR VJ101C-X2 (My First Replica) 5.5 years ago

    I am so happy to see a forgotten aircraft be built with attention to detail like this. The VTOL that never was, alongside its counterpart VAK-191.

  • Hunter XADF-1 -Block 0- Talon 5.5 years ago

    @HarryBen47 I'm still happy with this. Actually I think it's better in some ways than the replicas because it tries to be somewhat unique, and I stuck neat features into it.

  • Images in description 5.5 years ago

    @Nerfenthusiast @JamesBoA @USSR
    .
    Thank you. :) Got it working

  • Grumman F-14A Tomcat 5.5 years ago

    @Datboi1234 lol
    .
    If I do an F-14B or D modification, I'll probably disable the winglets. They don't add a ton of agility to the build (which I think was a similar conclusion the Navy reached).

  • Should the YF-23 have won? 5.5 years ago

    @ChiChiWerx Huh, didn't know that. Thanks for sharing. :)

  • Should the YF-23 have won? 5.5 years ago

    @ChaMikey I like both jets also. The YF-23A would be great research aircraft, so it's a shame that they've been relegated to museum pieces.
    .
    As for cost, we already know the Raptor has become a pricey fighter. How many more F-23A could we have gotten for the same price though? Maybe 5, 10, 15 at best?
    .
    @ChiChiWerx Good point. How much do we actually know about these jets? If that recent story about the Eagle Dynamics employee says anything even old jets still have classified data in the TDP. Not unlikely the Raptor and Black Widow II hid secrets as well that led to the AF choice of adoption.

  • Sukhoi Su-27P Flanker-B 5.5 years ago

    @Yoyoyooo A Raptor will eventually come...I'm putting it off a LOT but it shall come lol
    .
    As for a specific livery, I might attempt a rough approximation of the typical low-visibility sploches, but not much more. I ain't exactly great at paintjobs lol

  • Sukhoi Su-27P Flanker-B 5.5 years ago

    :)

  • BAe Harrier II GR.7 5.5 years ago

    @0644701018 No probs. Was quite fun :)

  • BAe Harrier II GR.7 5.5 years ago

    @Kimcotupan15 Thank you :)
    .
    @SelectAKey I tried to do it justice. The user wanted the AV-8B or -8B+, but I decided to try a British Harrier. Given how the GR.7 was developed it basically is the AV-8B

  • BAe Harrier II GR.7 5.5 years ago

    @BogdanX I've noticed in testing that sometimes the jet will violently twitch. I've had it happen with other builds before too. I think the rudder is a bit too big and that might contribute, but I'm otherwise happy with the performance. Shoutout to @WPN78 for the designersuite mod.
    .
    And I mean...it is SimplePlanes. ;)

  • WWI planes 5.5 years ago

    Maybe an S.E.5? You mention Werner Voss in the D.III build, so why not the plane that brought him down? I dunno

  • Grumman F4F-3 Wildcat 5.5 years ago

    @MintLynx Funny enough the hollow fuselage would not have made the build accurate; this is old fashioned fuselage blocks shaped and nudged into place.

  • Grumman F4F-3 Wildcat 5.5 years ago

    @MintLynx Funny enough the hollow fuselage would not have made the build accurate; this is old fashioned fuselage blocks shaped and nudged into place.

  • Grumman F4F-3 Wildcat 5.5 years ago

    @Carbonfox1 Thank you. I certainly wish I'd done some XML drag reduction on the wings before I posted; did it afterwards and got a decent speed boost.

  • Grumman F4F-3 Wildcat 5.5 years ago

    @0644701018 I'll add it to the list. Any specific version you want?

  • Simple Paratrooper 5.5 years ago

    Awww he's so cute~ :3

  • Grumman F-14A Tomcat 5.5 years ago

    @ShermanFirefly Danger Zone intensifies
    .
    Thank you. I'll be honest I was woefully optimistic about the part count. I thought it'd be 200 or less; BOY was I wrong lel

  • Messerschmitt Bf-109B-2 5.5 years ago

    @Warshipplan52 HAH! XD
