@4404 I don't like to do ridiculous amounts of detail when it comes to builds. I use a laptop that isn't absolutely ideal for high number creations or just really big ones. Plus I like to follow the name of the game; 'Simple' in SimplePlanes, y'know? :)
@ChaMikey Well it's sort of true. Thanks to the physics it seems to turn better when you're flying fast. Not by much though, so keep distance in a dogfight
@ChiChiWerx My F/A-18 and LTV A-7 have the same problem. I don't think I've seen it elsewhere, so maybe I should report it. Thankfully the large pylons are less catastrophic than the wing pylons; the jet straight up explodes because the bombs shake so harshly.
@ChiChiWerx The F-101 Voodoo was on the brain, hence it's reference in the description. It came out looking like an F-104 as well in some flying angles.
@JakeTheDogg I thought the shot looked cooler. :) That's all. Honestly I don't mind being a little 'underground,' so to speak. Thanks for your upvote though; hope you enjoy the jet.
@BogdanX The lack of all-moving tailplanes bugs me too, man, but I try to keep the "simple" in SimplePlanes while also making it as accurate in look as possible. Sometimes I have to skip on details like that. :/
@ChiChiWerx I'm highly picky about stuff like that. It seems fairly basic but I always look for the important stats that match in-game; height, length, wing area, and wingspan. These days I also try to look for images that give me exact dimensions for areas of the jet. I found an entire page detailing the various models of Super Sabre and picked one to base this off. I can try to link if you're interested.
This looks fairly similar to my own MiG-17. I thought it was my design at first, but I can tell it isn't. Looks good; missiles are a nice touch I should've thought about in mine.
The TBD never had guns except in the rear turret. Judging by the paint scheme and gun placement I might take a guess and say the game Battlestations Midway had something to do with this build. Still cool though.
@FrogmasterAereonautics I should be the one apologizing. You put a lot of work into this and here I am complaining about the little things. I WILL say it flies wonderfully.
I'm gonna be frank; aside from lots of functionality and detail, there is something...OFF about this F-4. I've been looking at it from every possible angle and the wings and cockpit bug me. :( I hate to say that, but it's what I feel. Still an outstanding build; miles better than anything I could do.
I like the look; the F-105 has a pretty unique shape that might be weird to capture. I can say that it might need a gun on the left underside of the nose. I'll fly it around for a bit and give a flight report later. :)
Again, sorry for non-Beta users; this one DOES have a new part on the front. Once all the changes are confirmed hopefully you'll be able to use it fine.
Sorry to those that don't have the Update Beta. This plane doesn't have any of the new parts or anything, so...theoretically it should work fine for those without the Beta.
@DeezDucks The A-7 didn't have that feature. The F-8 Crusader, the jet the Corsair II was based on, did have that feature for takeoff and landing. The wings on the A-7 are larger than the Crusaders so I guess it didn't need the tilting wing.
@iDrakeZz The Phantom is a tricky plane to shape right because it's such an awkward design (Aerodynamically it really shouldn't all that flyable from what I've heard before). I agree though; this is a beautifully shaped model. Kind of wish it came it the Luftwaffe two-tone grey by default but I went ahead and did that anyway so whatever.
Seriously though guys...go look up the VAK 191B and VJ-101C. They are very interesting aircraft to learn about and it's something of a shame that they never made it to production. Though they are certainly a relic of 1960's aircraft design and perhaps it's better their line of VTOL development stopped where it did.
@Viper28 Go check out the original H-311 if you want to get around that; whatever I said control wise for that jet applies here. To save you time though, ALWAYS press 8 before the game world loads your jet. The centerline tank is set to release when group 8 is activated; problem is group 8 always activates upon spawning. So yeah...press 8 before spawning. Works all the time. Hope that helps!
Thanks to Pilotmario for modifying my original design. I liked the improvments and really wanted to implement them on my model. So yeah, thank you. (I still have no clue what I'm doing, so..help linking this to the Bandit-Hunter jet would be nice. thx)
I have to say that this is pretty good. I need to figure out how to get the hinge rotators linked to the gear. Maybe I just overlooked the option? And to be fair I had the fuselage hardpoints there to give some air-to-air capability. Self defense more than anything. Cool job man.
@EpicPigster1 Thank you

@EpicPigster1 Thank you so much. The Jug is up and available now if you want it.
@EpicPigster1 Wish already granted :)
@WilhelmScream Thank you man :)
@WilhelmScream Thank you :)

@baallzebub Would like to see a late-war A6M or the rare A6M3 with clipped wing tips. That'd be refreshing
Best A6M I've seen on this website.

@SimpleFlow I am guilty. X) The A-4 served as inspiration and I emulated the lines and form.
@JettStorm thank you. :)
@ChiChiWerx I have that issue with this design of bomb rack ALL the time. I just deal with it at this point.
@ChiChiWerx The F-101 Voodoo was on the brain, hence it's reference in the description. It came out looking like an F-104 as well in some flying angles.
@ChiChiWerx Wow, you're right. X) Funny how that worked out then.
@JakeTheDogg I thought the shot looked cooler. :) That's all. Honestly I don't mind being a little 'underground,' so to speak. Thanks for your upvote though; hope you enjoy the jet.
@ChiChiWerx Here it is. I used the Delta model as my guide.
http://www.supersabre.com/f-100specs.htm
@ChiChiWerx I'll try it out and see how it does. Thanks! :)
@ChiChiWerx Thanks for the support, and thanks for serving! :)

@KuhneStassen You're welcome man
@90corvette Huh...never heard of that. Cool.
I never thought I'd a MiG-9. This is cool!
I tried a water takeoff. Did cartwheels and laughed.
The TBD never had guns except in the rear turret. Judging by the paint scheme and gun placement I might take a guess and say the game Battlestations Midway had something to do with this build. Still cool though.
Great rendition of a relatively obscure Japanese fighter. Great shaping; will come back with flight report.
@mixupmash ...Oooohhh...
@Treadmill103 Thank you. Glad to hear it flies well. That's always a concern of mine, especially with military jets.
@mixupmash The Fushia?

@MrDeguello Xml modding my friend.
@Treadmill103 Thank you. <=)
Great looking Crusader. Nice to see lesser known jets get love on a level like this.
@EngineerOtaku Wait, nevermind...found it

@Pilotmario Sure. Send a link back; I'd like to see what you do.
@RAF1 Yeah. Big fan of the anime. Saunders is my favorite school.
@LeHoneyBadger Thanks. Took a couple tries to get to this point. Still experimenting on it actually.
