Sorry I took your time away but I somehow accidentally fixed it? while I went to retrieve the log files via the appdata, I unintentionally deleted the simpleplanes folder, using common logic, I instead of launching the game to create another log file, I took the long way round to retrieve it via data backup. Was a lengthy process and aborted it midway and launched simpleplanes instead to create another log file and to my surprise, it opened??? like I can interact with it and whatnot??? So yeah, I am really sorry to eat your time away but thank you so much for indirectly helping me.
