@iDrakeZz Take my word for it, it's an overpowered gun. I slapped one on the smallest thing I owned, the FE-326 in this case, and took on the biggest thing I had, the FE-992 (which I had to upload in two pieces to avoid crashing the game), and I simply vaporized it. I'm just trying to decide a paint scheme to use for it, maybe a navy blue?
Holy crap! Tried the FE-326 out with it. It took down a bridge, quite impressive. So I decided to get into a dogfight with an FE-202. Vaporized it. Nothing left. So I tried a bomber, the FE-22. Vaporized that aswell. I thought it would be impossible, but I pit it against my heaviest plane, the FE-992. I only found a single engine, not even a prop.
Good lord, Rohan! I'm not even going to attempt to ask how you did it, I'm assuming black magic. This is clearly a large step forwards in what one can do in this game.
@Gg1234 Alright, plane's nearly done. I've decided on a name, the Farthing Engines FE-326. Cruising speed 1000mph, capable of 2000mph at altitude 18000. Just need a good coat of paint and some livery to separate the A,E, and G versions.
@Gg1234 Right-o! Well, if it does get up... I'm still having a few balancing issues, and a terrible turn rate. Well, what's to be expected out of a plane with no tail, right?
Ooh! This would be an interesting addition to a variant of a plane I'm currently designing. It looks like an ME-163, without any balance hacks, and I plan on 3 versions. The FE-XXXA, with a fiddy cal in the nose, the FE-XXXE, with one of @Rohan 's 105 howitzers, and I might make a FE-XXXG, that may use this.
@TheGuyWhoFliesToGetHisPie Perhaps an error on my behalf, recent testing have found some idling and running errors without a cockpit attached to the same structure the engine is. One It is, though, it will work fine. We currently have a jet interceptor in the works, an FE-326 using the 1Z JSS engine.
@TheGuyWhoFliesToGetHisPie Please use the engine to it's maximum potential. We here at Farthing Engine systems guarantee that this engine can propel any small craft to one thousand miles per hour.
@TheGuyWhoFliesToGetHisPie Greetings. Farthing Engine systems would like to push the 1Z JSS Turbojet engine for the contract. It possesses a top speed that rivals Blasto jets over three times the size. A demonstration can be found on my account.
The FE-88 made higher than I thought. I was unable to do any significant changes to either the mass or the maneuverability, so I reclassed it as a fighter-bomber. You said planes had to chase it, so a rear facing MG was added to the plane.
With this up, I don't think I need the V3 up. Might delete it.
I've also noticed a weak point with the FE-109 in the tail, at too high a speed it will remove the rudder and one aileron. The plane still flies normally, oddly enough, but I think a tail redesign may be necessary.
@ElijtheGeat Haha, that's how I do it, too. Is the CoM ahead of the CoL? Yes? Than it's good to go. I'd love to check the flight characteristics of your creation, but my tablet simply will not allow.
What a piece of garbage.
Go shoot yourself in the stomach at a wheat field, refuse treatment, and die in an inn as your brother arrives by train.
10/10, how long did it take to complete this masterpiece?
I have a plane that can trump it, but it needs to be uploaded in three pieces due to my crappy tablet, and I don't really feel like doing that tonight.
@iDrakeZz The plane.
Very nice plane, high speed with great maneuverability. Makes all my planes look like their tails are too long, perhaps they are...
10/10

@iDrakeZz Yea. It's modded for an incredibly high bullet mass and speed.

FE-326A is up, just fitting the B.D.G now.
@Skua there's no brakes on 57 tons of American steel.

It's been a while since a forum post made me burst out laughing at a car meet.
Erm, I think someone's beaten you to it. Familiar with Kerbal Space Program?
I don't believe that kind of language should be used here..,
@Squageheimer This was great fun. I'd do it all again if you held another!
Of all the planes, the biplane wins! Congrats, @Baldovino !
@Geekpride Alright, thanks. Testing will begin immediately.
Congratulations,
Congrats.

@TheGuyWhoFliesToGetHisPie Is the cockpit connected to the engine? That may cause odd behaviour.
@TheGuyWhoFliesToGetHisPie Er, what?
@TheGuyWhoFliesToGetHisPie Please use the engine to it's maximum potential. We here at Farthing Engine systems guarantee that this engine can propel any small craft to one thousand miles per hour.
@TheGuyWhoFliesToGetHisPie Please, take your time. If you find the performance lack-luster, we have the 2Z JSS in development now.
@TheGuyWhoFliesToGetHisPie Ok, the engine is up.

@apcr it might just be a balance issue. Try flying it at a lower throttle percentage and see if it improves.
Looks good, first replica of one I've seen. The original had no gear, but had a sled like an ME-163. Try using detachers to make the gear fall down.

Egad.
I'm glad I'm on your side.
@goodboygoodplane I understand. The plane is quite fine as is, and doesn't need those cheater devices.
FE-194 is up.
Japanese cars can't be spy vehicles!?!? Somebody didn't watch Sean Connery Bond! 2000GT or bust!
The FE-194 twin-engine jet fighter is currently in development.
Farthing Engines will submit a design.
Not a bad idea.
I'd like to set up a team. Farthing Engine systems, and put forward a design, which will be posted soon.
This will be at Yeager.

@ElijtheGeat for what's supposed to be a realistic physics game, making things fly isn't as hard as it should be.
What a piece of garbage.

Come on, now. This is just a copy. Be better than this. For shame.
@WalrusAircraft nope, I'm right here in the good ol' U S of Canada.
As for my car, it's an 85 Corolla GTS Trueno AE86.
@WalrusAircraft nice one LOL. I've got a Jap-spec ECU in mine that gets the last, Er, 10 horses out of my engine.
@WalrusAircraft noice. I wish I had the guts to modify my vehicle some more. It's painfully slow, but it's Right Wheel Drive.
That camber though....
@WalrusAircraft an Evo, you say? What generation?
Erm, I'm pretty sure a Spitfire is a different model than the P-51.
What worries me now is that there's an unequal amount of downloads between the front and back halves of this plane...
@Squageheimer alright, thanks. I'll work on a V2 with a smaller silhouette and try to drop the mass.
