I was thinking of making one myself. Instead of Rotators though, I's give the trolly wheels, a thruster, and start it connected with a Detacher. You'll need an adjustable counter-weight on the back though,
I don't upvote often because Firefox has stopped allowing me to. Just takes me to an error screen in the SP website. It's really inconvenient needing to open a different browser for some sites! It feels like websites are deliberately blocking FF users.
Yesterday I tried to render a map with some modeled stairs and a tunnel, took forever so I canceled it. Everything's made in Unity so if someone could find the method SP uses to make the bridge destructible, we could ake our own stuff :)
@AgDynamics Ohhh I saw that many years ago & never thought more of it. Found a video of how it would look using Legos, and I think I'll try it next :).
I use right-stick for my VTOL so I can't drive it well, but that's my issue :).
For users: VTOL needs to be all the way up else it will spin itself to pieces.
I can't even fly it, the camera keeps bugging out...
Ok, I got it. Time for the challenge :)
*... the propellers blew up!
....Can't do it. It's like trying to land a paper airplane on it's tail. You're asking people to make an aircraft that is nose-heavy to land in the most awkward way possible. I managed to ... actually... brb
... nope nope nope nope nope.
I'll tell you all what I did though. Attack the water and use it to slow you down. Then at the last moment, pop out of the water upright and land on the nearest surface, like the shore or a carrier.
It's very bouncy! The camera in FP view turns in the opposite as the turret, is that supposed to happen? Also turret spins freely as it walks, and Cameras 4-10 are in the same spot.
@Skua It doesn't ignore connections; the part still needs to be in contact with the piece you are originally connected to, otherwise it will just fall off.
@ValtsuAircraftIndustries
Works fine for me, I tested it thoroughly.
Oh, I figured it out! You have to wait until it goes at least 200 for a smooth take-off, else it'll nose-dive and explode :p.
So it really does fly, just needs a little patience.
If the screen is blank for you, it's a giant sting-ray shaped bomber, with a tail fin on the bottom that prevents it from flying, as there are only 2 wheels :/.
@HypnoticChicken Fixed it; Flies beautifully. May I upload?
Just barely landed on the carrier! :D

@BoxGlow
Also, does tagging someone who up-voted a predecessor notify them twice? I don't mean to spam :/.
@Baldovino Maybe a plugin then..

At times, SP reminds me of Space Engineers

Who says this is non-kid friendly?
I'm waiting to see if Unity will render a flat map 10,000 x 10,000 units in size.
-15 Celcius right now, 5am. Was about -20 without the windchill.

@Sharkie It's a gift card so he'd probably email you the code.
Doesn't lift off, just keels over and explodes on the runway.

I thought it was 'shunting cars..'
Doesn't want to lift off
Very nice! I too am working on a submersible, and this has things to consider :).

Nice work! Love the colors, and the engines remind me of the 'Claw-Mobile' from Inspector Gadget cartoon :)

Ah! Completely forgot that site! Haven't been there since I played Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts :)
Here's mine
Random Plane
Looks easy enough :)
Is it for minor adjustments while in flight?

@Scifieart Well if it was all for the legs, then those are good bonuses :)

@Skua Ah so much knowledge, I am humbled! Will pay more attention when I build things.
@FIRESHOOTER No gear, can't land or take off. Not a proper plane.
Lights would only be useful for looks as there's no full night time. Or is there? Mine just cycles day or evening.

@MediocrePlanes Looks fishy, whaley
@ValtsuAircraftIndustries poke
Fishy!
Whaaaat the hell!
Cute little craft that doesn't float, can't 'swim' because the engine will stall once it hits the water.

@Phillipineaviation
@Phillipineaviation Almost always a weight issue, I can take a look at it.

Why did you leave out the VTOL controls in your description?? Anyways I'm examining your design now.
Looks like the plane I'm going to make bahhhhhh!
Ya, there's no escaping it >_>

Very well done! Nose-heavy but that seems pretty common.
