@TheNightmareCompany Both. Your build is great, and lots of fun to drive. The idea of requiring mobility assistance even in a virtual world is funny and depressing at the same time.
@ReinMcDeer Yes big fan of mustard and I subscribe to his stream, where I found the VVA-14. Do you know if it's allowed on to to link to content creators on other platforms?
Thanks. Is that what they meant by it was painted 'Aeroflot" colors? I tried to look it up but it was in Russian. No there have been a few good attempts at this oddity over time. This is the first VTOL version.
VR is looking really good in beta! The immersive menu solution is easy to understand. Firing guns seems natural but how to fire a missile is not as obvious. I'd love it if there was a trigger method for missile as well without having to go through the touch menus.
@V OK. If they look fine in your VR headset then my advice may be out of date. It was something I noticed when I creating my first VR UIX on the 1st gen CV1 headsets. Compared to controls created for normal PC displays I found that I had to make everything bigger. I remember feeling like a 3 year old trying to grapple with fine objects. If you are able to get them, reference the games "VTOL VR" and "UTLRAWINGS" for a good comparison. (SImpleplanes VR is going to be soooo much better)
This is your best build yet. Yes I still love your trains and dragons. But this one is so smooth.

@Hedero Its the algorythm. I think its based on a social network rating systems, the number of friends and friends of friends. i think you have the right attitude. Build for the love of it. And the fewer but more appreciative people that enjoy what you create.
Also...and I swear I didn't know this when I commented, could you please uncurate and recurate my Hover Jet Sled-VR? I updated my tags without reading the rules on curated content.
May I humbly offer a couple suggestions? Make gauges and buttons bigger than you would normally. Because VR displays are so close to your eyes details are not as sharp. What looks fine on a screen is less so in VR. Touch controllers are cool but they are none too exact so bigger is better. That's why VR apps look so "blocky".

I find myself oddly triggered by VR friendly wheel-chairs.
Very clean. Amazingly efficient use of parts.
+1It does its own thing and swims in little bursts. You can control it with Activate1 but it only moves during those moments. Spawn it as an AI.
Run Otto, run!

Oui vraiment!
Thanks everyone for the upvotes.
Yep. I made one with the VTOL capabilities that it was supposed to have.
Its peaceful. I think it needs a keel
Didn't know this plane existed. Love the way the gears pop out sideways.
+1With that many guns, you don't need to aim any of them. It hits everything.
+1Its just beautiful. Feels "Crafted"
+2Nice!

I like this one.
If only all life's goals could be reached by pressing a single button.......ah bliss
+1A fascinating design. What was the intention behind having both props and jets. Were they for different phases of flight, or to work together.
+1What a good idea. I'm going to do a room too.
So cute! It makes me smile when I fly it.. a feel good bird.
+5Love the steampunk styling.
A teaser for my upcoming entry into the VTOL challenge
So unassuming. yet so amazing. It's a symphony of geometry, aesthetics and code. Going to read the book!
+1Geez. Fabulous! I wanna stick my dime on the top of the game machine to reserve my turn. Or..Did I just make an outdated 80's joke.
Use the overload mod and instead of controlling flaps with "Roll' use this code
RollAngle/90+Roll
Nice idea

+9@V Will do. Thanks!
@Noname918181 Airplane specifically? OK that sorts out what you are looking for. I was thinking of a VTOL tank but I'll try something else.

Can it be silly but very functional?
just beautiful. So peaceful to fly.
+2I have an strange urge to fling him from a catapault
+3I'm so confused.
+1Its really good!

+1@JuanNotAnAlt @AvalonIndustries Congrats, this challenge created loads of amazing crafts.
+1And he does it again...endless imagination.
Suck a clean layout. Flies like a dream.
+1Really good. Love the cockpit
Just keeps getting better!

I can help

Make the buttons bigger.
+1Can you make the gauges and things bigger? I find that 1.5x as large as you would normally works best with VR
VR Ultralight comes to Simpleplanes! This is really fun to fly.
That is Juan sweet ride!
