I suggest using a livery with a shade of gray as the primary colour and secondary colours as anything you like (but not too bright). Also try a designer background mod. Be aware that I can’t fly anything with this part count so I’m just judging looks
If something has less than 300 parts and seems promising, I download and try it out then upvote or ignore depending on performance. If something has over 300 parts but looks incredible, I upvote (unless comments say it flies trash). By the way, I have a PC with some very new, high end parts and some VERY old low end parts so I have weird performance effects. 1 year old graphics card and a 9 year old central processor so the latest phones are better than my PC in certain ways
@RailfanEthan Electric motors have vastly more torque for the same weight and efficiency. Lithium can be safely recycled for use in Li-Al alloys but mining is harmful. There have been multiple advancements towards non-lithium-based batteries that are about to be made publicly available. Battery technology is rapidly progressing towards less flammable, higher energy density products but there is still significant risk. At this point, batteries in cars are just as likely to explode as a fuel tank when you hit it with a truck. Internal combustion engines are woefully inefficient and harmful to the environment. At the current state of technology, we could replace fossil fuels altogether if the decision-makers weren't (long series of expletives).
I am the pilot when it’s remote control. I just ain’t sitting in the cockpit and have almost no risk of death if something goes wrong. It is a completely different fillet of fish to full-scale, manned aircraft though @ThePrototype
If they take no skill to make, don’t post them. Enjoy flying them around yourself and try not to rely on other people online for gratification. Most of my creations are not uploaded, but I’m also not ashamed of them. I upload what I put a lot of effort into but I mostly fly the unuploaded creations. I think you should try creating more detail for them and use a livery that is pleasing to the eye before uploading
Have you checked that the airfoil type of the vertical stabiliser is symmetric? That catches me out surprisingly often. I don't think propellers obey newton's laws of physics in SimplePlanes. Do you get any slight autoroll in-flight?
It shows promise but the centre of thrust is too far below the centre of mass, causing it to pull up hard. Something this powerful needs the CoM and CoT perfectly in line
If cleaning doesn’t work, someone experienced will need to have a look at it. It sounds like windows is being its usual (insert expletive here) self and has (insert expletive here) your computer with updates. It should clear up within a few days and a few restarts but you may need someone to check it out properly @Zippy6
Step 1: check task manager to see if there's windows updates or anti-virus going crazy
Step 2: clean out all the dust from inside the PC, especially the fans
Step 3: scream incoherently and kick the PC into oblivion
XML guide. In overload, click the plus and type in "damperMultiplier" and set the value to 10. If it doesn’t work, times the value by 10 and try again. Repeat
They are useful in other aspects such as yaw stabilisers/dampers/side-force-generators. They can be used a bit like a polyhedral wing to have high roll stability
@JunkyardLeader Give it a good ol' kick for good measure
Good. What was wrong? @JunkyardLeader
Damn. I can’t help then. That always works for me @cheese99
If you have overload, type in "damperMultiplier" and increase the value by 10x until it stops wobbling. Too much will slow it down @cheese99
+12nd page of highest rated of all time in 3 days
+1I totally agree. While an airfoil shaped wing would have higher polygons, it would be a lot less than using separate fuselage blocks
+1Very nice
+1Try running a memory diagnostic

+1Ok, I’ll let you make that survey
Good thing it changed. Sounds like how movies can have poor ratings before previews are released @PlanesOfOld
FYI, 1200m/s is a realistic bullet speed, not 120m/s. Otherwise, nice work!
Wow. There sure was a lot of drama in the early days of simpleplanes lol
Have you tried screaming incoherently?
it's good to see new players progressing from this to the Scout Eagle within a few months :P
Hi bored, I'm Liam
+13@logizAircrafts P-61 Black Widow or Canberra bomber
Hawker DH103 Hornet
Well said

+4Sorry, I’m just joking @randomusername
@randomusername I think you just overdosed on something else honestly
@randomusername are you feeling OK?
Do high-performance R/C quadcopters count? How about R/C planes?
+1Beautiful aircraft! Inspired me to start making a 3 surface bushplane
Well I haven't tried it yet but the prop wash simulation sounds promising
Do a VTOL bomber so you can learn something new. Look up experimental aircraft on Wikipedia and try to modify something to work with your style
+1WOW!! SO MUCH dEtQAIl! VERy GooD!
Looks good but you need better suspension. I recommend double wishbone suspension

@ACEPILOT109 I'll go for <300 then
Define "mobile friendly"
+1Do you want <200 parts or <500 parts?
I thought your land rover was originally made by @archerabc

Not in overload, no. It's part of the colour code in the XML files but there is a colour editor mod that will do all that in-game
+1Oh yeah, pistons don’t come under hinges category. Oops @Marine
Have you tried loudly swearing, kicking the computer or screaming incoherently?
+3Did you change anything from the original?
Also type in "preventBreaking"

There is a damper XML attribute
+1Looks pretty ghetto but fun

It's fine for unrealistic aircraft but don't do it for a replica or semi-realistic aircraft.
+1@Phoza sure. It's a good looking craft so I appreciate it
