@KfcGaming ohhhh
.
Real missiles don't do that though. Infrared targets the engine exhaust and radar-active missiles target the radar (which. In this game, is the cockpit)
@rexzion @WiiMini I think he's just asking in general, considering how much attention this post will bring, a Dev will likely see it, most probably Andrew
@Xx24reminder if you want to start drama, take it somewhere else before you get your panties in a wad
.
On another note, it's just useless. You've made your point. Great. Now kindly stop
This is cool! However, you did not disable aircraft collisions on the missiles inside the fuselage, meaning if you attempt to maneuver anything more than by a few degrees a second, a missile destroys the whole ship
okay, that code was a LITTLE more complex than I expected.
Based on the trigonometry involved, I'd guess this code accounts for lead, as well as shooting on it's own? Huh. I'm not this advanced at FT yet, but maybe check capitalization. One of the codes might be spelt wrong, input wrong, or maybe the whole tag works weird
.
Also, are you putting a different code in for the roll and elevation? They should probably be slightly different from each other
@GeneralPatrick2 ooh, yesss. The French rockets. Those were pretty cool, and as Clutch said, I'm fairly certain you could use them considering they were used during WW1
Hehehe
I see what you did there... "I'm a fan of this prop"
.
Anyways, thanks for this great challenge! And I agree with Gro, you do amazing work on your results
.
Congrats! @PapaKernels @RamboJutter @AntiAirNuri
Sorry to ask, but will these cockpits be customizable?
Or will it be like a seat that has the 6-pack and stuff in it already included, you just make the outside of it?
This plane is super cool! I love all the details you added. The mini bomb bay, the landing gear (which I'll get back to in a second), and the cockpit. MWAH! All gorgeous
The weapons load is amazing too
.
However, the controls are funky at some times. Pitch seems a little slow to respond, but that's okay, the roll is good. I used full airbrake and slat/flaps on landing, but upon landing, the front gear broke. Yes, I was coming in rather high so I can try again
And it all and all is great at taking out enemy forces
@PoinX25tlessWhyShouldI YESSS. That looks awesome lmao
Now I'm picturing all the German designs from ww2 that had the 109mm cannons built into the fuselage
Right-o, mate, here's your score:
.
20/20 - Armor | She has a lot of panelling, and can fare very well! I love how smooth your panelling is. I might take notes on it...
40/40 - Size | She's a brute! Not as big as the B-36, but just as beautiful
25/30 - Capacity | The only reason I put this here is because I feel like it could have had at least a little bit more for there being a massive 3-doored bomb bay. BUt still, I think it's super cool that you chose the H-bomb!
20/20 - Maneuverability | She flies like a bomber. I love how realistic the movements are, so yes. Fits it well
10/10 - Personal Preference | I LOVE Convair's old designs. I definitely think a lot of planes would look cooler today if they hadn't of gone bankrupt and got bought by... General Dynamics? Sucks, but hey, at least their memory stands on. I hope to work on the airworthy restoration of a B-36 one day. Gorgeous planes
.
115/120 - total
.
BONUS POINTS:
+20, moving parts
+40 for interior
+5 x 4 = +20 points for decals
+20 for badass landing gear
+30 for it's amazing looks
. TOTAL POINTS:245/120
Also, out of curiosity, was there a variant of the B-47 that had a single seat? From everything I've found in the past, it is a two-seater. I just want to check
.
The B-47 is a super cool plane though and I'm really glad someone entered it :)
@KfcGaming ohhhh
+1.
Real missiles don't do that though. Infrared targets the engine exhaust and radar-active missiles target the radar (which. In this game, is the cockpit)
I am a student pilot
+1I have 1 official hour on a Cessna 172, and I have an extra hour (which I forgot to get marked) in a Piper Archer II
@rexzion @WiiMini I think he's just asking in general, considering how much attention this post will bring, a Dev will likely see it, most probably Andrew

DOPE!!!
+1@TatsuTheOtaku ah, gotcha
+1Do you play War Thunder? I shot down someone named Otaku
+1@ThomasRoderick LMAO
+1praises
+1I love you guys
Downloads?
+1One of those lol
Nooo. There's two upvotes >:(
+1@Arsenia if you try rolling, the missiles collide and explode. Might be the pylons, I dunno lol
+1And personally, I think 2 is the coolest looking, as it shows almost all of the plane in action, however, number 1 looks more like a thumbnail
+1@ark3192 control surfaces already have activation groups
+1This is cool! However, you did not disable aircraft collisions on the missiles inside the fuselage, meaning if you attempt to maneuver anything more than by a few degrees a second, a missile destroys the whole ship
+1@Fox00One Grrr. That's stupid as hell
+1@Fox00One are you getting it back? Or are they just "kumbaya, deal with it?"
+1okay, that code was a LITTLE more complex than I expected.

This is super cool though! Like a multifunctional part
+1@GeneralPatrick2 ooh, yesss. The French rockets. Those were pretty cool, and as Clutch said, I'm fairly certain you could use them considering they were used during WW1
+1@DrexxVolv I always mix up the capitalization lol
+1@TheNightmareCompany fair, fair XD
+1.
But I think your idea is great nonetheless. Simple customization that anyone can do, and you can still XML mod it
@TheNightmareCompany THAT'S INGENIOUS
+1@FabioGalvao5679 yup! There is
+1@Bo1233 multi-player is in the game already
+1Hehehe
+1I see what you did there... "I'm a fan of this prop"

Anyways, thanks for this great challenge! And I agree with Gro, you do amazing work on your results

Congrats! @PapaKernels @RamboJutter @AntiAirNuri
Ooh great choices!
+1.
I'd say RamboJutter, PapaKernels (I'm biased), and SimplyPlain
@Walvis oh, okay! My bad lol
+1@ALTMTR they're on mobile
+1Sorry to ask, but will these cockpits be customizable?

SAC BOOOMERRRRR
+1This is awesome! Amazing job!
+1@Kangy :(
+1Sorry
Hey, another person building a propfan!!
+1This is neat!

@Kangy can I try it out on you? ;)
+1@LegoManOfLegoCity "not very immature" heh. Try that one again, insensible prick
+1@PoinX25tlessWhyShouldI oof lol
+1@PoinX25tlessWhyShouldI YESSS. That looks awesome lmao
+1Now I'm picturing all the German designs from ww2 that had the 109mm cannons built into the fuselage
Or, really, my question is how big can this classification of aircraft get?
+1All it is missing is a vodka bottle inside the fuel tank
+1@PapaKernels lmao
+1.
Thanks buddy
"I'm becoming a fan of these" pun? Hehehe
+1And because this plane isn't technically a replica, I will allow it to participate in the tournament!

@AllAmericanB17 you just upvote multiple of the person's build
+1.
For instance, if they get 10 upvotes, you upvote 10 of their builds
@SimplyPlain oooh, thank you! I can't wait to see it >:)
+1Also, out of curiosity, was there a variant of the B-47 that had a single seat? From everything I've found in the past, it is a two-seater. I just want to check

The B-47 is a super cool plane though and I'm really glad someone entered it :)
@Thunderhawk the B-47 held up to 50-ish 500 pound bombs, or 1 nuclear bomb
+1.
The B-36 could carry about twice this much. I hope this helps
