my Walleye sport twin. it will land on a dime and perform any aerobatic maneuver. one time i went around and landed and took off at all the landing areas (including both carriers) all while using 30% of my fuel. it just flys good. i love it. a true classic to me
@Quintasoarus you have t move the VTOL slider up until it stops overspending. if you don't want to control pitch manually, it flys well in auto pitch as well
i tried making a Forward Swept Canard right before the update out of wings and it was actually not too bad to build. it didn't fly well, but thats probable because of the design itself and not the building technique
tail hooks would be useless without arrestor cables and vice versa so it would have to be two things added instead of one. otherwise i am all for this idea
i tried this a while ago, and the result wasn't too bad. instead of using a small plane, however, i made a cockpit for a large airplane so it looks like you're sitting in a plane with the windshield and windows and everything
the paint scheme didn't come out quite as i hoped. most Uhus were light blue-gray and thats what i tried to make. if anyone wants to make one with better paint, feel free to do that
@XVlindustries if you notice, it has a slight dihedral angle on the right wing root. this was done to kind of simulate where the wings were joined. thanks for the feedback though!!

kinda looks like a Polikarpov I-16
B. paradise would be cool
glad to see my design, although not even designed for the challenge, finished well
great challenge, as always
diamond wing aircraft
executive transport jet with a diamond wing setup
love the duck. great job on this!
hi
thanks for all the credit you gave to my to my original airplane you jerkface
This plane is sweet. Reminds me of the Convair XB-46
like the name :D

yeah @blockhaj i thought the same thing. the real A7M would make an interesting SP project
looks great!!
Maybe it was hammerheads I was thinking of. Something in there isn't right
too bad the real one is busted up after the ground fire...... D:
thats a tricky one. it kind of looks like an AN-225 with De Havilland Comet airliner wings

You know, the XP-84 was actually the prototype F-84 Thunderjet. Great plane you got here, just wanted to point that out
how many can we enter?
reminds me of the B-36 Peacemaker a little
looks like a COIN version of the Me-110
cool to see you got the variable incidence elevators too. one of my favorite vtols of all time. great job!

@SpiritusRaptor have you tried making a version to sling under the wing of @WalrusAircraft 's B-52?
very cool looking plane :D
i tried this a while back with some simple planes and a detacher. got a pretty good hit on the tiny with it once i got the timing figured out
one of my favorite aircraft. never realized how well it could be made in simple planes. great work!!!
one of my favorite early naval jets
northeastern PA
looks great!!!
looks awesome!!

Looks vaguely like the Latecoere 631 flying boat
this is like the complete opposite of @A5mod3us 's ultralight seaplane challenge. maybe that was the purpose
could i build a pentacopter or even a Dodecacopter?
thanks @JacobHardy64!!!
@JacobHardy64 here you go :)
the paint scheme didn't come out quite as i hoped. most Uhus were light blue-gray and thats what i tried to make. if anyone wants to make one with better paint, feel free to do that
@JacobHardy64 its on my list ;)
didn't the Turbo Raven also have that great of a p-w ratio?
i like the design of this plane. reminds me of some of those rc trainer pusher planes
isn't it a penta-copter instead of a quinto-copter

@stingray wasn't the NF-104 the rocket equipped one?
y6? cool!!
neat little plane
cool to see one of these in simple planes. if I'm not mistaken, there is a guy who is trying to make an RC version of this plane.
i like the idea of this; fuselage and wings of a modern jet fighter, with that classic radial up front. great job on this plane!!!!!!
