well, the real one was hard to land. it says in Bob Hoover's autobiography that he was a bit angry that chuck yeager could land the N9M without porpoising
@grantflys I know, its a tricky plane to master. it took me a while. i even made some other versions that can glide from the north island approach all the way around the island. but those planes fly pretty bad. my gliders tend to have nasty spin characteristics. :p
for such an oddly shaped aircraft, this looks very realistic. i guess the only thing that couldnt be made is the weird four-engines-two-propellors engine setup on the real one. that may be why most of them blew up :p
cool idea!!! i have tried this concept before, with great results. i found that if you crash into the bow of the uss tiny, you can make it do donuts in the water.
looks more like a Shinden than a Long-ez
it actually doesn't work as a sub-assembly. i tried. all it does is just sit there and do nothing. either that, or my game has a bug. I'm on IOS
SP version of the Reliant Robin?

the shape reminds me of the English Electric Canberra medium bomber
what's the challenge? i am intrigued
looks like the new Stratolaunch that Scaled Composites is building
i like the fact that i can enter more than one plane :)
very cool!!

meh, i don't really know. my plane is having many, many teething problems. may just have to make something new
never knew simple planes could be so light
so, if i was to make my own design for this challenge, would it have to be armed or can i just say its a fighter plane?
i am in on this challenge
how did you do your nacelles?. i am intrigued by how you did the intakes
Convair B-36 Peacemaker

is firefox allowed?
very pretty looking glider!!
looks more like a Rutan vari-ez
Very cool looking aircraft
i like the placement of the speed brakes :D
:D
floats look a lot like the Swoose, an old timer free flight seaplane
@Bmw1230 at least he said it was stol.
cool!!
no matter how many times i see someone do this it still impresses me :)
this seems awfully similar to my detacher plane.......
i like how you did the lightning bolt
congrats!!! the plane reminds me of a Rutan Vari-ez crossed with a Rutan Vari-viggen
xDDDDD
so sad the real vulcan is headed for non-airworthiness :(
i like this plane quite a lot. looks like flying wing gliders i used to make out of foam dinner trays when i was younger
cool shape!
very cool!
i love canards...
looks kind of similar to the Scaled Composites Proteus
i find it kind of ironic that the most realistic airplane is not based on one real aircraft. Great job on this plane nonetheless
like these planes
i made the concept one and then people started to create...
do you thing you could upload your intake as a sub-assembly?
correction: it should be skyray
reminds me of the Douglas F4D skyway
@kamikaze
cool idea!!! i have tried this concept before, with great results. i found that if you crash into the bow of the uss tiny, you can make it do donuts in the water.
i like this design
@waveofthought also did it
Good job on such a rare aircraft
looks a lot like the Miles M.52 supersonic research aircraft
this has actually been done before. great job, nonetheless
