@A5mod3us you should make a grumman skyrocket, but a bit more scale than your Thunderscout. i have already made a skyrocket but it was made with the old engines. it would be cool to see one made in beta version
@gonny the A-36 was North American's reaction to the failure of the early model mustangs before the Rolls-Royce Merlin was installed. it had fence-style dive brakes to slow it in a dive. the Allison engine made it kinda sluggish though, and the whole concept was abandoned after the Merlin was installed
@A5mod3us i originally planned to use my original pond scum in the challenge, but after reading that amphibious planes got bonus, i decided to reupload it
very nice aircraft. if it flies as good as it looks,it would be a real world-beater (can't fly it unfortunately as i don't have beta)
cool looking jet
I have tried this on one of my large aircraft( very sketchy looking result) and surprisingly it didn't break on landing
lots of dc-3 coming out lately. this one caught my eye though
reminds me of the Scaled Composites Pond Racer
now we only have to wait till the developers add contra-rotating props
i like this design
Oh My God! finally someone has made a Mixmaster!!!!! one of my favorite planes of all time. beautiful aircraft by the way
like the landing gear!!
very neat idea for the challenge. looks very similar to my entry :)
ooooooooooo.....a natter. one of my favorite late-war german aircraft :D
haven't seen a whole lot of sky masters on this site yet....... the beta brings many new possibilities
:DDDDDDD
a b-36?! i gotta check this out :DD
this would be hard, but it would be cool if you could make the I-153 with actual retracts like the real one.
has anybody made a shinden yet? theres a video on youtube of a flight simulator where the xp-55 and a shinden are dogfighting
a perfect match for a Shinden............
i like the way the intakes are placed :D
all i can imagine is having a detacher set to max force and shooting a small white block far out to sea.........Wilson!!!!!!!
that new fuselage part really helps with all these designs not possible to do before
very good for a first plane!
The aircraft is kind of fragile, I will admit
cool i would extend the fuse lodge a little though i like the cockpit
very cool idea
cool
very cool looking
this plane looks quite a bit like my glider launcher
just submitted my plane
always like your challenges. they are very interesting
very cool!
@A5mod3us

Simple, yet very realistic
like the wing
neat little plane
i love the Skyrocket. one of my favorite aircraft of all time

Amen!!
i have been experiencing the same problem. not exactly sure why, but after the latest update it just started doing it. worked just fine before it
cool vtol
very good for a first airplane!
Looks kinda like the Saunders-Roe SRA-1 flying boat fighter. wait, now i just gave myself an idea for a plane to make in simple planes...........
very cool!
look up N963KA that would be a cool version to do
i have tried this concept before, with good results. your looks more like the Scaled Composites aircraft though....
A Grumman F4F Wildcat would be very cool.......
thanks @JacobHardy64
i really like single float arrangements as opposed to twin floats
@A5mod3us maybe next time you could do a glider challenge
@A5mod3us i originally planned to use my original pond scum in the challenge, but after reading that amphibious planes got bonus, i decided to reupload it
