There are a couple ways you can reduce/get rid of drag entirely, but first there are some things to explain.
Drag in-game is defined by 2 attributes that affect the drag of individual parts.
- dragScale (any number above 0, 1 by default)
- calculateDrag (true/false, true by default).
While they are similar in function, the main difference is that calculateDrag completely removes the affected part from the drag calculation when set to false, meaning that other parts behind it will have drag like that part isn’t even there. Using calculateDrag to disable drag also has the added benefit of being less resource intensive on your device, so personally it is what I recommend, especially for high part count builds.
You can change drag of individual parts by changing either of those attributes directly in the XML file or via the Overload mod. To remove all drag, you can open the XML file in a text editor and press Ctrl+H to open the replace text tool. Search for all instances of calculateDrag = true (exact way of typing might not be accurate, don’t have pc access right now to check) and replace the true with false.
It reminds me of this, which I may end up making at some point. @ACEPILOT109
On an unrelated note I like how your plane can take off and land without gear. It’s really fun to do.
It can handle more than 3. I’ve seen up to 6 on at once, and it could probably handle more. Either the people you played with were using big, high part count builds, or you have a bad PC.
@Axier I see you use Windows, so you can XML mod them. You can do that by going to C:\Users[username]\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\AircraftDesigns and finding the corresponding value there.

There is certainly a lot for me to learn from this.
+1A multiplayer troll deleter. I ought to make one of those.
+1I’m not so sure how this is able to fly with the CoM so far behind the CoL but it works. Great job.

rip
+1Replicas. I'm not creative enough to make good fictional builds.
+1This desperately needs a remake. With the new gyros I could probably make it work...
+1ducc
+1Happens on PC too, except you don't have to restart for some reason
+1@Freerider2142 My plane is this La-15
+1ducc
+1just turn freecam off
+1lol that place is dead. there is like one guy that posts 50% of the stuff there
+1@jamesPLANESii It seems like aircraft engines have the same issue. Ex. If the real plane uses a 2000hp prop, I need to bring it down to like 500-600
+1@randomusername No, there is only one.
+1@SupremeDorian I considered saying something like that in the OP

+1I tried that sort of thing a long time ago. The mission was to shoot down a plane with a player-guided missile.
+1Very nice! You've earned a follower
+1ahh so this is what you've been flying around in multiplayer
+1이거 저도 전에 만들어 봤는데 저보다 엄청 잘하셨네요
+1@Falkenwut
+1I really like the wings. Mustn't have been easy to get those flaps working the way they do.
+1As a matter of fact, there is.
+1Stabilizes the plane so it flies more level. By default you can use it with keypad 7 and 1.
+1If you can't wait for an update to add them, try this here, powered by a missile.

wtf happened here lol
pretty shite
you are now doomed to have that name forever stain your profile page as soon as you change it out
@xChassex No but there's a successor to it you can join here
so how many times are you gonna post the same plane over and over again?
And how old are you?
Hm.
