@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 Let me rephrase, the connection between the SP pocketdimension and Universe-1 is Soian-maintained. So far as I'm aware Soia doesn't involve themselves much with the events within, so long as it remains suitable for Graingy to conduct business in. That is, after all, the whole reason the connection was created in the first place.
@YarisSedan Mostly just my hatred of Grain. You could improve in a few ways, such as punctuation. I... cannot see any periods throughout the bulk of that.
@Boeing727200F A very specific kind of Liminal Loss (information - matter, energy, etc. [describable things], disappearing between universes). Not all forms are collected in the gutter, only a certain kind that tends to clog up pathways the Soians have preference for. It's for their own convenience entirely. Actually sending lost information back to where it came from is an incredible kindness, seeing as the alternatives include just destroying it outright. That would take them a lot less resources.
You can find artifacts and entities there. There are squares kilometers of camps full of wayward souls.
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 It turns out the pocket universe of SimplePlanes isn't as stable as I once thought...
Which is bad, seeing as it's Soian-maintained. It means they aren't doing their job.
As much as I hate to say it, maybe it’d be a good idea to ask Grain. It has closer ties to Soia as of present and may have more up to date information.
@YarisSedan What?!
That is very, very odd. Soia doesn’t have a flag, at least none I can remember, unless it was the Soian roundel. Black, purple, and orange?
So you were in an underground tunnel system overgrown with Earthly vegetation, full of Martian dust, with burnt Soian symbols scattered around? The rest isn’t anything special, the Multiverse has tons of strange stuff (and that’s nothing!), but the indication of Soian presence, even if indirect, is perplexing. Sounds like either a Soian unit passed through and left a bad impression, or someone who knew of Soia camped out.
Alternatively, it’s just a massive coincidence. Coincidences can be almost anything in the Greater Multiverse, you name it.
@YarisSedan Yeah, that definitely was not the gutter. I would be very concerned if you’re destabilized enough to get pulled into other universes. I’d suggest seeking a Soian contact to see if you can get a fix.
What do you mean run down? Was there terrain? Buildings)
@YarisSedan oh, so I’m not alone in this. Great.
How long were you waiting for your number to be called? It was two weeks for me. I camped out next to a middle-aged cop and a man who spent his time burning figurines of MS units made out of loose hair he collected and dyed.
The MS units manning the place recognized me, but still made me wait. I suppose they did bump me up a week or so, but it’s still bloody insulting for me of all people to be stuck there! I’m not some random bloke, I used to work for Graingy!
Granted, “used to” was probably a factor in their decision to make me stay…
That's a Cool F-35
@Graingy Come together with me for a moment to complete this for me, would you?

This is funny

This looks very dangerous to bail out of.
Good for you.
... What?
Thief.
Hey! You stole my idea!
Imitation basement guy, eh?
❔
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 It is a gutter in the sense that it catches certain kinds of interuniversal strays.
+1@TalonTheT38Guy I never could have guessed.
@Guywhobuildsstuff What? No!
It's in drydock.
Our only drydock.
It's holding up the entire fleet.
@Graingy Got anything?
@Graingy :D
I quit.
@Graingy I do not like that
@Graingy haha
@Graingy stop
And I was busy!
You don't like white paint?
@YarisSedan Better than Grain, you are the new face of writing on this website.
You have my full support.
Engineering
You are strange.

But why replace it?

To be clear, the gutter is a white void.
@YarisSedan That doesn’t sound like the gutter? Were there other people there?
@Monarchii I, uh, had a bit of an incident.
I am uncomfortable

Can I have a “good job, baby”?
@Fiat133 126?
What did I miss?!
Freaky.
+1Ha

Hm, nice.
That is a very odd sleigh.
Using a screenshot of this forum post as an example of a forum post would be extremely funny.
+1I’m still trying to get the candle wax out of my hair…
Does the old one still exist?
Why though?
Oh.
Wait, bricked?!
