@JMB713, sorry for essentially rejecting your design as my final product of this aircraft is a canard design. I just wanted you to know that your idea was a large part of what my aircraft is now due to the fact that the aircraft, which I now call “light spear,” looks really cool with the canard, thank you for understanding.
Cool! Thanks for upvoting and actually technically it is a stick, but what I did was I made floppy hinge rotators and then attached the “rope” to them so that way it could pivot. @JonathanElst
Sure, let’s say the heck with physics. No really needs gravity anyways.@Sadboye12 but wait, I changed the wing shape, so unless you’ve already fixed it, is it possible to do it on this plane: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/gmmOl0/Yeah-this-one
It flies great! The only two things I would change would to increase the wingspan and use the fuselage piece, here take a look at mine: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/VfnF87/Powered-Sailplane
Nice job! Btw I play on iOS too.
Nice! And I think in the U.S. you can solo at 14 but they recommend to start flying at 12-13 so that may be me soon. Congratulations on your license. @JonathanElst
These planes! They’re awesome, I can barely even come close to what you do. I mean, that may be because I’m on iOS but still! Your planes are beautiful @Sadboye12
Thanks @JaycoCat! That really does help, I’ll take your advice into consideration, although I do have one question, are custom ailerons and flaps required? Or can I just keep the ones on the stock wings and it will be fine?
There is almost nothing I can complain about this aircraft, very well done. Extremely realistic and a breeze to fly, I could not have been happier with this build. Nice job.
No, sadly I am underage although I plan to become one as my current future career is to be an aircraft designer. And I thought if I were to design stuff, I should learn the basics. Thanks for asking! @JonathanElst
Cool! I like the color scheme.
Wow, just yesterday morning I was at 430 or so, now I’m at 670. Thanks guys.
Edit: 743!
Hmm...
Also, thanks to JBM713 for inspiring the canard.

Cool, is this a glider irl?
Thank you all for your support and for spotlighting me, I really appreciate it.
Thanks man, that really means something coming from a guy with gold.
Will do! @tommie
Thanks! Sorry I didn’t acknowledge quicker, works great!
Nice plane! I never would have expected my sample glider to turn into something this professional.

Thanks fam, rly appreciate your hard work.@Sadboye12

+1Of course! I don’t need any credit either, thanks for asking! @JolyLoly
No worries, I bet control surfaces does have at least a bit to do with it. @Randomed
Thanks, I really appreciate it, although sadly you are right, I wasn’t really going for a canard design, but thanks anyways!
Didn’t think so.@Sadboye12
Very cool! It’s nice to see that something so simplistic can look so cool. Kinda inspirational I guess? Lol I dunno.
+1Thanks for noticing my try, sorry I couldn’t meet your standards. Otherwise, glad I could help. @Mtech
@JonathanElst, what do you think, is this even close to realism?
See, that fuselage piece helps out a lot. I just changed the shape of the fuselage and re-shaped the wings. @Oofsoda
Although technically the tow plane has an engine so I would recommend a cleaver powered aircraft. :/@Sadboye12
+2Very cool, love the shape of the wing and the winglets. And in addition to all of that, it flies great. Nice job.
Holy crap! I forgot to tell you guys how to detach! Ok so I would recommend putting it in auto pilot first, then pressing AG1. Sorry.
Good for you. @Yeet1234
@Oofsoda here try this.
Good point
There are some great tutorials on YouTube for building stuff, try, Things I wish I Knew When I Started SP, by Spatium. Hope this helps!

You should try to make a pusher prop version.
Nice job! I love how small it is.
No problem! @Trainzo
Nice job! It flys just as good as it looks.

26/1? Wow gliders have improved.
And to you too!@JonathanElst

Yeah... they kinda are, lol. @Sadboye12

+1How do you do these things?!? This is crazy cool, I hope your aircraft never lose their personality.
+1Glad I could help with this glorious project. Awesome job.
+1@JaycoCat, anything else?
Ok, thank you for clarifying @JaycoCat.
Thanks @JaycoCat! That really does help, I’ll take your advice into consideration, although I do have one question, are custom ailerons and flaps required? Or can I just keep the ones on the stock wings and it will be fine?
Thanks @MrVaultech, I appreciate it.

+1I’m a huge fan of sailplanes and this is the best one I’ve seen so far, nice work.
Very cool, I’m not sure why this isn’t more popular. Very good job.
You don’t have to give any credit, but thanks anyways! @Mercyaircraftcorporation
