For now, use what they have written below, and do the best you can. Try to make it fly. If you still have trouble getting off the ground, upload the plane and ask for more specific help. Someone can download your plane to find the problems, the give you advice based on that plane.
From there, you should be able to handle most problems here on the Forum.
I trust you had a good break? It is good to hear from you again.

I have been doing nothing, and still managed to get 300 pts ahead. You need to change that.
It was worse. One player decided to upvote everything I had, including some forum items. I asked him to only vote for the things he truly liked, so that I could use the votes as input. The extra votes were removed.
If you are on a mobile device, the two islands on the right of the map that @Avro683Lancaster linked to will not be there. Unless that has changed recently.
Unless you are into (heavily) fluid dynamics, mathematics (calculus), and physics there is no simple, correct answer.
Over simplified answer... An airfoil moving through the air always produces an area of low pressure above the airfoil, and, almost always, an area of high pressure below. Because the pressure above the airfoil is always lower than below, we can treat the pressure below as high pressure. High pressure wants to move to low pressure, so the wing is forced into the low pressure region. As the airfoil moves faster, the force of this pressure will exceed the force of gravity and presto, flight. There are more forces at play, but I don't understand them well enough to explain.
Naw, it really is PFM that makes aircraft fly. (Pure Freakin' Magic)
@helilover03 ask your dad if he remembers the text based StarTrek game. That was in the days of main frame computers, with "dumb" terminals to access them. That was when the new desktop models had only 4 Kbytes of memory.
We were more than happy to go out to play games of these standup consoles. The new wonders of the day.
@Reddley Yes, it is nice... And, it is not my place to tell anyone how they should vote. We each vote our conscience. That is as it should be.
I like to vote for things that are creative or very useful, or just plain helpful. I find such things unusual (not Normal) so I upvote them to encourage more of the same. I think that is the main drive behind the votes I place.
@Kerbango took a break from a project and have not gotten fully back to it yet. Don't know if it shows for you in my Posts or not. It's this one, 0 0 0 1
I made the gear too light. It was collapsing on low physics. I am now trying to find something that looks right on this project.
The most amazing thing about this shuttle is the fact that the skin is rusting, not just corroding. It highlighted the state of welding technology for thin steel sheet.
Look a lot like a raw steak. Let's hope it doesn't get thrown on the barby.

Nice Intruder.
What's the number on the side of the island? (Too large for me to download)
@ProKillaV12 Then that might be disturbing. (On first take.)
@ProKillaV12 do you have your i and e reversed?
But I ordered a Philly cheesesteak sub with conning tower flag and pickle torpedos.

I saw the thumbnail for this and immediately thought, That has to be Kerbango. I was not disappointed.

Thank You, @Awsomur ... And, again, for the vote.
Brilliant! @FlyingThings too (the cube)
Maybe an options page where we could select our own preferences?
Fjorge, please delete this post. A simple disclaimer is not enough.
Imagine an apartment building on fire, and the kids that didn't get out in time.
Not everyone is of good judgment. And this post is availible to everyone…

Distributed lift
You are a truly inspired designer.
Not Normal… Good job!

@helilover03 then he hasn't a clue. That was the '70's. The first computer in our house was a 32 Kbyte Z-80. Around 1980, I think.

Changed the link. It is correct now.
Try this link
At one time, that question waz used in the US Navy's SEAL training. Failing the test would drop the candidate from the program.
Single question test, pass / fail.

yeah!
@LimitedShelf568 It was a response to your thankyou. Sorry for the ambiguity.
@Reddley I would feel better with votes that show what you like. It gives me better feedback on my work.

Not* Normal*,... Just as it should be.
Not Normal
(That's a complement.)
The F-4 Phantom method. F-4 = "with enough thrust you can fly a rock" Small wings and more thrust than mass was how the Phantom flew.
@Reddley did you just upvote everything I have?? I don't know what to say to that. Wow... Totally at a loss for words.
Thank You, @Rodrigo110
F-8 with a wing pivot. YEAH!

Might you consider an F-8 now? The flaps were unusual on that one. They rolled the wing at the fuselage. There are several good images here.

Good start for a ground radar dish. (Horn fed, not phased array)
Are you old enough to remember the earliest screensavers? The Flying Toasters screensaver was very popular.
