@WeeBabySeamus XD I've had it roll sideways down a hill and I was waiting for it to explode and at the bottom it rolled upright and was like 'well we going or what'
@WeeBabySeamus I'm glad you think so, I've been staring at pictures of the real thing for a day so, its good to have fresh eyes. Side note, some how this thing is nearly indestructible and can roll its self upright on most ground (get it upside down and jiggle the roll and it bounces right side up)
@Sirstupid it was actually rather easy (i used modded fuel tanks for balance) the batpod actually took a bit more work suspension wise (even though it is far simpler some times it take a while to realize the simple solution is the one that works)
@PuhBuhGuh I can think of a less math intensive way of explaining it if you would like, I know not everyone can understand math or 3 axis graphing as easily as I can. And Id rather you learn how it really works than to be confused by everything
@PuhBuhGuh it was algebra biased physics (that was worth college credit) and some self study calculus in high school (im 18) that and I enjoy physics math and such lol
@Sheppard118 thanks, it just took so long to make i didnt have time to add the little details like you added here witch really makes it feel like a car
@PuhBuhGuh note Im using y as vertical and z- is towards the front. If you have a com at 0,0,0 and add a mass of equal size at -10,0,0 and 10,0,0 (the right and left of the object) the com will still be at 0,0,0 now if you say moved those masses down 2 units (-10,-2,0 and 10,-2,0) then the com would shift down towards 0,-2,0, the same would occur if you had a single mass witch was double the previous masses at 0,-2,0. now if you had a wing above the com (still located at 0,0,0 bc there are no masses attached) say at y=3 and added a mass to each wing tip (-10,3,0 and 10,3,0) the com would move upwards towards 0,3,0. so adding masses farther horizontally does not necessarily mean that the com will lower
@Unknown1 thanks most of the growth was actually over the last week, I hope you are enjoying and learning from stuff I upload (I want more people to be able to make stuff that works well like mine)
@PuhBuhGuh the com will go down if the added mass is below the current com, a tightrope walkers pole generally flexes and is below the rope that they are walking on lowering their com
@LordofLego yup lol, this thing is gonna be a pain to get it stable (its visual center is above the wheels) so I am experimenting with in axle suspensions so I can add weight below the axle right next to the wheel (the real one has engines or a engine in the hubs i believe)
I wish I could make this a predecessor in some way to every vehicle that uses these wheels bc they truly have allowed for a great many of vehicles (and all of mine use these wheels in some form or a tweaked version by weebabyseamus)
@realluochen9999 Very cool, looks really good. something you could add in a future version or just to other designs is, well a rotating barrel, or moving trigger. But I imagine such feature slipped your mind when you where working on this (I know I have released some design early bc I was so excited about it and realized after there are alot of little details I could of easily added to improve it)
@LordofLego the cool down for votes is 2minutes i think so it should take about what an hour tops to hand out all the votes (assuming you sit there and wait for the cool down to go. You could almost do it in a few days if you like say you are working on a plane, build a bit then before you test it go upvote, test it some, upvote build and repeat but its all up to you how ever you wish to do it
@TheFlyingPlane21 drag is calculated when the block is placed, so you would need to edit the xml file after the final save then you cant tough it in the build editor, if im not mistaken
@WeeBabySeamus lol I managed to find you wish this site would auto update so i dont have to refresh pages (and that I could get notifications on my tablet or computer) but one can dream any way i sent you a msg on reddit puredeathknight is my name over there
@BigCat lol ikr
@LordofLego well i saw someone who had this exact same design a few days back... I forget who though
@SkipperBing I was running it on high, and it was bouncing around at speed and after turns
very cool, suspension is a bit bouncy but you are on ios so you cant really fix it (you need xml editing to be able to stiffen it up)
This should of been featured even though it is a successor, the details added give it life
wasnt this already posted by @lordoflego ?
@weebabyseamus
Very cool!

@PuhBuhGuh I was at Columbus state but dropped out (I have social anxiety and have a hard time dealing with alot of people at once in person)
@Sirstupid it was actually rather easy (i used modded fuel tanks for balance) the batpod actually took a bit more work suspension wise (even though it is far simpler some times it take a while to realize the simple solution is the one that works)

@KingDeadshot thanks!
@lordoflego
@weebabyseamus its basically done, ill update with more detail if i can find some good pics of the real thing.
@Garuda1 can we use modded parts?
the com is infront of the cot (com is where the craft will pivot around) so move the cot forward or move the com backwards
Your col is in front of your com witch means that the aircraft is rather unstable but maneuverable
@Sheppard118 thanks, it just took so long to make i didnt have time to add the little details like you added here witch really makes it feel like a car
I like the interior, and what you did with the scoop in the hood, and the spoiler on the back. makes it look alot better than what i did by its self.
@natethegreat1 you have your planes upvoted
well I got it finished I just need to wait 3 more hours to upload it
Nice
@PuhBuhGuh I have had 2 years of physics classes, and calculus btw
@PuhBuhGuh note Im using y as vertical and z- is towards the front. @Unknown1 Thanks, but there are a few others who do better chassis and suspensions than mine, I just make pretty bodies lol
@Unknown1 thanks most of the growth was actually over the last week, I hope you are enjoying and learning from stuff I upload (I want more people to be able to make stuff that works well like mine)

@weebabyseamus bc making the first(I think I was?) normal motorcycle isnt enough, I needed to make something much cooler and complex
I wish I could make this a predecessor in some way to every vehicle that uses these wheels bc they truly have allowed for a great many of vehicles (and all of mine use these wheels in some form or a tweaked version by weebabyseamus)
That name does seem to fit quite well
@LordofLego Its what I usually do if i find a few things I like, I may favorite them or open them in a new tab then upvote them as I have time
@realluochen9999 Very cool, looks really good. something you could add in a future version or just to other designs is, well a rotating barrel, or moving trigger. @Saruman I like your style It looks very nice!
Would you like some advice for building vehicles? such as suspensions wheel position and such?
@TheFlyingPlane21 drag is calculated when the block is placed, so you would need to edit the xml file after the final save then you cant tough it in the build editor, if im not mistaken
welcome to xml editing :D
Glad to see you finally got it done I know you worked really hard on this!
@LordofLego just knowing that you liked it (and the attention my design got) is reward enough
Nice take on lordoflego's challange
@LordofLego Thanks! @skipperBing Congrats on first you deserve it your chassis (and indy transport built ontop of it) is highly detailed :D
@Authros @mattmck Thanks guys!
@WeeBabySeamus lol I managed to find you wish this site would auto update so i dont have to refresh pages (and that I could get notifications on my tablet or computer) but one can dream any way i sent you a msg on reddit puredeathknight is my name over there
@WeeBabySeamus how would i happen to go about contacting you or other members of the staff privately?
@WeeBabySeamus lol
@WeeBabySeamus i wont officially or unofficially do a little happy dance while working on a bat bike
