@Observer404 me neither, but there are a bunch of keyboard politicians here, and those are the ones responsible for having comments sections getting removed by moderators
@DeadlyDialga I really don’t want to speculate, but… he has the literal personality of a 10-year old.
Like I still have memories of primary school (basically elementary school), and I see the exact same traits.
Thinking the entire world revolves around them, posting stuff and pressuring people to like them, and worst of all, getting mad and pulling out the “I’ll tell [insert adult]” card when people don’t like them.
I feel that someone should really explain the world to him, because if he isn’t going to grow up, this community will never cease to hate him.
For those who are asking for a new SP update, here’s my opinion on the situation.
Although, since you guys just finished making the 1.1 update for Juno, if you have time, a small update for SP would be nice too. @AndrewGarrison
Uh oh
Also, how do you get the 2 planes to come so close to each other like that? Every time I try to do it, the AI plane pulls a 6G manouvre to escape, despite being a literal airliner.
I haven’t downloaded your helicopter yet, but judging by the overall appearance and your previous builds, this is one great chopper.
Just one suggestion: if you want your helicopter to be played by SimplePlanes VR users, and allow it to be enjoyed by more people as a result, add the ”VR” tag to it. This lets the curators find this, and curate your craft to be used in the VR game.
If you’re bored, you shouldn’t be sitting around here waiting for rickrolls. How about I introduce you to some planes (and other stuffs) that I made? Here’s the link to the list of my creations, hope you’ll like them!
ok I’ll actually try this now
Two guys were out hiking in the woods, when one of them suddenly fainted. The friend immediately called 911.
Dispatcher: “911, what’s your emergency?”
“Help, my friend just collapsed, he’s not moving, I think he’s dead!”
Dispatcher: “Can you make sure that he’s dead?”
Right after this, a few gunshots were heard over the phone.
“Okay, he’s dead, what do I do now?”
(well you asked for dark humour, and this is officially the world’s funniest joke for some reason)
@Speedhunter I guess chaos signals a larger player base?
Idk but for me, it seems like a trade-off: a large player base with more variety will make more posts and inadvertently generate more controversy, while a small player base will mainly just stay peaceful because there aren’t many other people to communicate with, and they instead just go onto Discord or something.
@StockPlanesRemastered no like I’ve been planning this since last October; it’s not really related to the challenge.
Also I agree with the people below; preventing white rank users from entering challenges is just discrimination.
I’ve heard that North Korea just announced that reunification was impossible, and tensions are really high again.
Hopefully your conscription goes well, and that you’ll never have to go to war in your lifetime. Good luck!
@Graingy to me the biggest issue is that unlike WW2 survivors, many of the relatives of those who died in 9/11 are still alive today. It only makes 9/11 jokes more serious.
@Monarchii oh that must be where Albert went; I’ve been looking for him for ages!
(It’s good he didn’t eat you. He does that to some people he doesn’t like)
2015: KSP was released. SP stayed alive.
2018: SR2 (now Juno) was released, with a better game engine, more features and a larger world. SP stayed alive.
2020: Stormworks was released, with a huge open world, freedom to build anything and multiplayer. SP stayed alive.
2023: KSP2 was released. SP stayed alive.
Oh yeah, don’t forget Roblox.
I’ve read somewhere that the average shelf life of a game (that doesn’t support mods) is 1-2 years. For SP to have survived for a full 9 years so far, that’s pretty impressive. And think about it: even though there are so many better alternatives to SP out there, 20-30 new planes are still being churned out every single day, so I doubt the game’s going anywhere.
My take on this is that the game lives up to its name: simple, easy to understand. The learning curve is much flatter than more advanced games, and that’s what makes it appealing to the market of 13-15 year olds, which are the target audience of this game.
A con of Flyout is that there are no tutorials available, which means that you need a pretty solid understanding of aerodynamics before you even start. There is also no place to share builds (even Stormworks has a Steam Workshop), which means you have to figure literally everything out yourself.
Also, there’s honestly no obligation for people to stick to just one game and play it for the rest of their lives. People have freedom to choose, and they’ll want to move to other games from time to time. So just because some people move on to another game, it doesn’t mean that SP is dead.
If you say that it’s to support the developers, take note that as indie devs, they’re here not to make money, but in the hope that people enjoy their game. If their goal was profit, we’d have steep paywalls, endless sequels and no mobile version, which is much worse. Of course, buying the game would help them quite a bit, but they’re a passionate team who just likes doing what they’re doing, and I’m sure they’re satisfied that so many equally passionate users love the game. In my opinion, that is something no amount of money can truly buy.
@Dathcha @Shenzerbenzer09 also, Andrew will demote your SimplePlanes subscription to Basic instead of Ultra, preventing you from accessing 60FPS resolution, Maywar, joystick control and mods.
eat it

+4Coincidence? I think not
Is this it? Is this the place where every comment gets upvotes?
+4Me when I see the upvotes surpassing 1k:
+4@TheMouse it’ll still be the same website
+3@Speedhunter I guess chaos signals a larger player base?

+3To rephrase what PlaneFlightX said, you have absolutely no obligation to upload here. No one’s gonna miss you
+3"Mom, I'm 13, I eat unhappy meals now"
+3It still works on my end though…
+3You just lose all the points you gained from that particular post
+3Honestly though, I wonder why more drama has popped up in the last 1 month than in the entire year.
+3Was the ending of SP updates too much for them? /j
@Transair56 he said “no one even cares about you, you ugly cat!”
