It's never about the rating for me @HotDogMan. I just want everyone to fully enjoy my planes. While I don't always make perfect handling craft that turn on a dime, they all fly exceptional well in the right hands. There Is no flight "glitch". Here is how the plane is supposed to be flown https://www.kamcord.com/v/c5xnyP58Tli
This has my mind racing with ideas! I wish the developers were able to get multiplayer to work... Just think of the possible game scenarios with this machine! Strap it to the US Tiny and defend it while enemy players try to sink her!! Hell, even just making it as solo challenge like the SAM evasion mini game would be awesome!
@shootster06 Thanks for the rating! I'll have the floating variant (also equipped with rockets!) out by tonight or tomorrow morning. As for the triefbflugel... I could definitely try to make one, but I don't know about getting it to fly the way it was designed to. That is challenging!!
This is hands down the best Spitfire in the game. The handling is great! Even the yaw! While the yaw doesn't cause drastic turns, it also doesn't cause the whole plane to roll and that's a pretty good feature in my book! Really top notch work, here. Now if only she can get a flashier paint job...
I'm thoroughly impressed with this plane, @A5mod3us. It has really tight control. There's absolutely no wobbling or fishtailing after performing turns and pitching. There isn't even any snapback when releasing a yaw turn! I don't know how you did that. Yaw control is very difficult to get right and is often under utilized.
I build on my iPad (it's much easier to part clip with the little arrow tool) and then port it over to my PC for final touches. I'm glad you like it! Once you master the torpedo maneuvers check out @Vikdesigns Great White. Two torpedoes are definitely better than one!
While it'll be a sad day to see my favorite tank buster retire, I'd be okay if it was replaced by this beast. Loaded for bear and has that WWII twin boom design... Mmm Mmm!!
@Hypnoticchicken yeah this wasn't an argument. And to be frank, I don't compete in challenges (I think this one would have been a little unfair as is). As for a corsair, I've made one already but not one that has all of what you are looking for. Maybe in the near future I'll revisit it and add all the bells and whistles.
@Jaysto Man, that was so awesome! Good idea painting the torp yellow. It is rather difficult to keep track of when its swimming in the water. On the PC version, the water looks much more realistic and the torp has a large wake so its easier to see.
@PlanesOfOld I just ran the Swordfish through its paces at various settings on my PC, tablet, and phone and couldnt replicate the loss of control unless it was a result of a stall (to slow of airspeed). So in that case its 100% pilot error and I think you are right; this guy is just trying to troll.
This plane caught my eye and I gotta say it looks great. It is, however, a little overpowered. The two modded engines are a bit too much and it selfdestructs when performing maneuvers (at least it does on my iPad at maximum settings). It's cool though! Keep it up.
Thanks @TheLatentImage. Really, I appreciate the loyalty and taking the time to try my builds. Seeing people enjoy their favorite real-life planes in this game is the sole reason I keep building and uploading. The ratings are pleasant reminders of their appreciation, but the ranking and numbers aren't important to me. I just want to provide quality replicas and innovative features that everyone can enjoy and apply their own touches/advancements. It's a community-based game, and that's why I love it!
Also, did you noticed that he only responded to you and @JMicah4 but didn't respond to me asking him to describe the issue. Oh well, that's his prerogative I suppose. @TheLatentImage
No one was berating him and I thank you for that. I was just saying that to preemptively nip it in the butt. I don't want this blowing up into attack mode lol. Anyway, it's more than likely pilot error on his part, or he's just feeling spiteful and wanted to 1 star. It's kind of strange because half of his planes are variants of my Ho 229... @TheLatentImage
@JMicah4 @TheLatentImage I appreciate you defending this bird! But let's keep it civil, I want to help @HotdogMan fully enjoy this plane not berate him. If anything, just report the rating as slander. P.S. Keep an eye out for the floating variant of the Swordfish!
Post a kamkord video of you attempting to fly it and link it here. I want to know exactly how it's failing you or how you are failing it. I am 99% sure it's pilot error and you are just entering a stall due to a dramatic loss of airspeed. @HotDogMan
@PlanesOfOld yeah I won't be making a plane per day. I strive for peak resemblance and innovation, not quantity (I only have 40 something planes!!) As for the mosquito, planelover400 requested it from me a while ago so I'm not gonna stop production on it, sorry. I won't be building many fighters though other than the ones I listed; I'm more of a bomber kinda guy lol.
I'm all for more freedom in terms of painting, but I don't think it's going to happen anytime soon. I don't know much about programming, but creating a free hand paint tool that works on all pieces and angles seems pretty complicated and may be too much for smaller devices phones/tablets to handle. It would make camp paint jobs and nose art easier though! @PlanesOfOld
On deck I got a Mosquito, p-47, bf-109, H6k, and a seafire mk 47. I'm not making any US fighters (aside from the p47) but I am revisiting the b-29 and b-17 @PlanesOfOld.
You do know you're talking to the replica king, right? Lol, I'm just playing. We should talk though so we aren't pumping out the same planes and flooding the site. I am in the middle of a p-47 but I'm glad you made a razorback; mine is a bubble canopy. @PlanesOfOld
You certainly put the 'simple' in your SimplePlanes replicas! I like your minimalist style of recreation. You put enough detail and shape into them so they're identifiable but also keep it barebones enough to fly well at high settings!
Sorry, but I'm quite busy with my request list and hardly have time to build planes myself, let alone custom fabricated parts. Did you ask WalrusAircraft or Authros? They're much more adept at editing xml than I am and well more than likely fill you order quicker than I can. I saw your planes, I'll give them a go later on! @PlanesOfOld
@Cipher it's going to be sometime before I finish her up. I want to squeeze out all the details I can but still have it function on mobile devices. But when the time comes, our torpedoes will swim true and strike hard!!
@PlanesOfOld While I am American, my folks are British so I understand! Thanks for the kind words, my man!!
@ZFM99 @JMicah4 haha you guys are too funny! Thanks for giving her a go!

Already got one in the works!! @DeoxysPilotZ

@karlosdarkness Haha did you manage to nurse it back the the airstrip? Or was she done for???

I'm speechless!
Kamcord is supported on android. What device are you using. @HotDogMan

Annnnnnnnnd... GOLD!!
Definitely has a swan's face! Good one!
Cool, cool!
While it'll be a sad day to see my favorite tank buster retire, I'd be okay if it was replaced by this beast. Loaded for bear and has that WWII twin boom design... Mmm Mmm!!
@Eric314 I did! I gotta say, the water looks much prettier haha.
@HotDogMan Post a video with the game's recorder. It can start anywhere except for the water and it'll work fine. What are your settings set to?
I've always been intrigued by the parasite fighter concept. Also BRONZE!

@Lolivier I hope you enjoy it! Post a kamkord video (if you are playing on a mobile device) of you scoring a hit with the torpedo!!

Hmm, maybe if the war continued past '45 I could see us Yanks converting the B-29 into a wonder weapon like this!!!
I nearly forgot about this one! This is what this game is all about, people sharing their designs and other making it much better!! This is great!
I'd say more like a stingray. But it's blue like the horseshoe crab's blood!!
This is great! Don't know how I didn't see it before...
Missiles are a little wacky but the plane looks great!

Clearly this cat has some motives. All the more reason to just report the rating and let the devs decide. @TheLatentImage

@HotDogMan, you're only lying to yourself here, bud. Walk me through what's going when you attempt to fly her.
Yeah my builds take weeks to complete. I play when I can but between work and the family, time is hard to come by. @PlanesOfOld
@PlanesOfOld yeah I won't be making a plane per day. I strive for peak resemblance and innovation, not quantity (I only have 40 something planes!!) Fair warning; you got stiff competition!! I'm on a WWII bender as well! Lol @PlanesOfOld

Sweet!
Looks alone deserve a rating! Shame it's too much for my iPad
Hah, very clever.
Love the look of this bird!
