  • Upcoming Aircraft (Fuselage Only) 3.1 years ago

@AviationCat007 Already working on intake. Will tag once wings are in place.

  • Artificial Horizon (17parts) 3.3 years ago

This is pretty neat. The way it works is much more interesting though. Looked at the input and damn i see math. I've been looking through these parts because i was trying to build one for myself but i realized that yeah math isn't my strong point.

However you managed to figure this out, i don't know, but it's amazing.

  • Digital Attitude Indicator v2.0 3.3 years ago

UPDATE: Overhauling the design for more image stability (display sections spazz out when moving)

  • Digital Attitude Indicator v2.0 3.3 years ago

@stevemc01 no the white line is what i was referring to, its purpose really was just to mark the horizon line i guess, idk

  • JCR108L "Desert Angel" 3.4 years ago

@Afafaad Was gone for a while. Back now, hopefully able to make more interesting stuff. Working on a synchropter heli rn

  • JCR108L "Desert Angel" 5.9 years ago

@AtlasAviation Thanks! It's actually my first time trying out the new update. Gotta say, i've been havin' tons of fun.

    About the chopper:
The countermeasure lid isn't working right anymore, but i had an older version posted, which does have it working.

  • New Gen UAV 6.3 years ago

@Afafaad I'd suggest trying fuselage blocks, instead of normal blocks. They're inefficient to use, although i'd try to help you improve these designs. Feel free to take a look at my planes, and try seeing how i did some design elements. I might not respond to any other comments you make due to my hectic schedule. Wishing you the best.

Man, this thing can take a REAL hit. How does this thing even stay so strong?

The design was amazing. Although, you can't really stop the jet... and it can also explode randomly.

I just love the look and design. I love how you also made the effect of the gun look like it was a jet engine.

I like the design, but this can explode if attacked by guns. Also, it seems the design was similar to the base SP kicking fish, but the rocket motor holder design looks cool.

It looks like a little desk toy! I love how well it worked, although altitude's a lot less predictable, and it doesn't like to roll.

    Aspire's craft rating:

I like the design, and the concept, the look, and almost everything about it, except it really really likes to lose control if you're not careful.

I like the name, and i get the ref., but maybe you should've tried attempting to hide wings inside. It'll stall when there's no power, and i blew up at least more than 4 times.

  • MY NO ENGINE CHALLENGE ENTRY 6.4 years ago

@Tankace1 lol i think the distances may be a bit warped on android... i mean all i did was get to a high altitude for the best glide, then fired the engines after.

  • MY NO ENGINE CHALLENGE ENTRY 6.4 years ago

I did get it from yeager to wright

  • I Just discover this glitch 6.5 years ago

@Baldovino eh, it'll be buried in the endless void of planes, so why not make a youtube video instead?

  • No Engine Challenge (Not A Glider Challenge) [CLOSED] 6.5 years ago

@MTBCrafter what do you mean by self built?

  • No Engine Challenge (Not A Glider Challenge) [CLOSED] 6.5 years ago

@robloxweponco you have to find your own way to create glitch propelled crafts, i can't tell you how to make glitch powered crafts, it'll defeat the purpose of this contest.

  • No Engine Challenge (Not A Glider Challenge) [CLOSED] 6.5 years ago

    @robloxweponco
engine blocks can be used for cosmetic purposes or as the glitched part, but it must not provide thrust to the aircraft.

Actually, sorry to bring you down, but, this has been a design exploit used by many before. Look at my flying chopsticks creation, it takes advantage of it, but still. Good of you to find it.

    Title: "Highest Education"

i can see about 50 weed jokes and 10 kids getting high in the back of the bus coming

  • No Engine Challenge (Not A Glider Challenge) [CLOSED] 6.5 years ago

    @robloxweponco
    1. Smoothness of the flight
The motion of the motor - if it is smooth or rough and jerky

    1. Stability
If it does not force the craft into a nose dive or any other position due to physics problems

    2. Engine efficiency - if it will stall easily or not

    3. Design (also mechanism design - sleek or obvious)

5: Likeliness of self-combustion and destruction (the more the worse)

6.Expandability (how applicable your design is in other planes)

  • Komeiji Koishi(Touhou Project) 6.5 years ago

damn i can't believe the touhou fanbase has invaded SimplePlanes too

  • The Flying Dutchman (No engine challenge) 6.5 years ago

@TnTDestroyer like the flight of this thing's a bit broke, i suggest hidden scaled wings to fly without using thrust as the lift force

  • The Flying Dutchman (No engine challenge) 6.5 years ago

It's a funny concept, but continuous thrust breaks off control

  • No Engine Challenge (Not A Glider Challenge) [CLOSED] 6.5 years ago

@robloxweponco Just as long as it's not an engine, it's fine to be used, but idk what you're gonna use VTOL engines for
    You can use:
    Physics glitch exploits
Weird impact force glitches with guns
    Rotator fans

  • No Engine Challenge (Not A Glider Challenge) [CLOSED] 6.5 years ago

@Militarymaniac You can just make a launch mechanism, you do realize?

  • (Removed) 6.5 years ago

@Zyvx i think you should upload that after the contest is over. Original design is a part of this.

  • (Removed) 6.5 years ago

@ACEPILOT109 Design is one of the criteria, i think it's best if you try to continue detailing. I'm just encouraging everyone to try

  • NO ENGINE CHALLENGE - Bulletstorm 6.5 years ago

Deadline delayed - You may work on your design further.

  • (Removed) 6.5 years ago

Very good concept, more compact, but i'll move the deadline on sunday.

  • NO ENGINE CHALLENGE-Gyro Heli 6.5 years ago

@asteroidbook345 Well, that's good you informed me. The thing is, the successor list of your creation seems to be empty. I'll check your account.

  • NO ENGINE CHALLENGE-Gyro Heli 6.5 years ago

@asteroidbook345 quick reminder, tomorrow's the deadline

  • (NO ENGINE CHALLENGE) The Blunderbuss 6.5 years ago

@Aspire yep, that's the point. But the easier fix is to balance the CoM. You're able to design, so might as well go and put some weight up front.

  • (NO ENGINE CHALLENGE) The Blunderbuss 6.5 years ago

@Aspire everytime. The CoM's too far back.

  • (NO ENGINE CHALLENGE) The Blunderbuss 6.5 years ago

CoM is too far back, will flip, not glider.

  • (NO ENGINE CHALLENGE) The Blunderbuss 6.5 years ago

    @Aspire oki doki

  • NO ENGINE CHALLENGE-Gyro Heli 6.5 years ago

@asteroidbook345 You can still improve on this version, deadline's friday.

  • NO ENGINE CHALLENGE - Bulletstorm 6.5 years ago

You came very close to my design.

  • NO ENGINE CHALLENGE-Gyro Heli 6.5 years ago

Oh i see. It works. NVM.

  • NO ENGINE CHALLENGE-Gyro Heli 6.5 years ago

I'm sorry but if you can't fix this, then it'll fail the criteria.

  • NO ENGINE CHALLENGE-Gyro Heli 6.5 years ago

    Doesn't really fly

    At all

  • No Engine Challenge (Not A Glider Challenge) [CLOSED] 6.5 years ago

  • No Engine Challenge (Not A Glider Challenge) [CLOSED] 6.5 years ago

@Aspire But it must allow the plane to fly, and no recreating propellers with rotators.
