  • Douglas DC-10 American Airlines 1.3 years ago

Just saw an episode of air disasters on this crash, realized the plane had a more troubled history than I thought.

  • VTOL Ladder 1.3 years ago

I made it fly backwards by doing VTOL almost all the way down and throttle 10%, it worked until it started uncontrollably spinning 15 seconds after takeoff.

  • Okay, YOU ASKED FOR IT 1.3 years ago

Very fast but it doesn't heave anywhere near enough fuel, still cool though.

I like that it doesn't use fuel I did that one challenge and crashed at 24k feet because I was bored.

Easy to fly and I almost landed it properly ( I'm very bad at landings so this is really easy to land)

  • Mcdonnell Douglas DC 10-30 Turbo Lines International Airways 1.8 years ago

Oh also the American airlines flight almost crashed but it didn't. there was a Turkish airlines flight that crashed 2 years after. the NTSB did investigate the American airlines flight and the suggested changes were a redesigned cargo door and vents in the floor so it won't collapse from the pressure.

  • Mcdonnell Douglas DC 10-30 Turbo Lines International Airways 1.8 years ago

@LIQUIDconsumer Actually it was from the mechanism not locking when the door is closed and the door comes off from pressure change.

  • Mcdonnell Douglas DC 10-30 Turbo Lines International Airways 1.8 years ago

I actually watched a show today on the crash mentioned in the description. It was caused by the locking mechanism on the door not locking properly.

  • tiny fast salt flats racer 1.8 years ago
