@Akshay25 I know, I'm following your aircraft page thingy. You'll have to wait a bit though, currently on the train and will be for the next couple of hours XD
Forward swept wings are supposed to enhance performance at supersonic speeds, however, I believe they aren't traditionally implemented on aircraft because of some sort of twisting to do with the wing tips hitting the airflow first rather than the wing root. But like someone else suggested, I doubt this feature is modeled into SP.
I made some changes with regards to the engine placement and the canard/nose area. Would it be okay if I uploaded it and credit you for the original design?
@marco155 Thank you! I've made a few aircraft here and have got a backlog of aircraft I need to upload. Should be unloading a couple more today though!
@General360 thank you! I had another aircraft planned as a mothership, but the scale of it caused large amounts of lag. So I moderfied an existing plane. May upload it once I've got rid of the lag problem though!
@Ngoat Yeah, I think it was your simulator. I was browsing on the website and came across it on the "new" section. Unfortunately, I was on my computer (I'm on it now) and didn't download it. But, I'll give it a spin when I'm next on my tablet.
@dsr1aviation Thanks. A lot of hard work went into getting all the motors to work in sync on the throttle and brakes. So it's nice to know that it's appreciated!
The other option however, is to simply download and export parts as sub assemblies. If you have something in mind, you can usually search it and find someone who's already modded the part.
I use a Root file explorer on andriod. You export the part as a sub assembly, then you go into the sub assembly folder for simple planes on the file that contains the information on the part. However, you seem to use IOS, so unless there's a way to access and Edit all your files, then I'm not sure what to suggest.
@XVIdarkLithium I don't take constructive criticism to heart, although that doesn't mean to say I don't take it seriously!
I assume the cockpit problem is due to the air intakes along side of it. I'm not sure there's a lot I can do with regards to the maximum speed or altitude though, that is without modding the engines. As for the other problems, could you elaborate?
@Warhog626 I nearly did the same myself, but adding loads of detachers lags my device, that and I've got a few other planes in my inventory that carry bombs.
@StudentAV8R thank you! Compliments are always welcomed, asmis constructive criticism!!
Have the ability to upvote the aircraft while in the game? I get the impression that it may be too much trouble to download the plane, fly it and then go back to the website and upvote it. Any thoughts on that?
@Kevpilot I'm pretty certain MIG-29SMT uses a system where by any weapon can be mounted and integrated with the MIG. Well the original quote is: "The upgraded aircraft can also accomidate non-Russian origin avionics and weapons," so from that I would assume it is capable of carrying AIMs?
Weapons would be good. The only problem is that they might be a pain to mount on existing aircraft, assuming the weapons have a mass. If you can only fit a weapon at say the rear of an aircraft, then you will have to adjust for the extra weight on the back end. Then when you deploy the weapon, you have to try and fly an aircraft that could be very nose heavy. So perhaps the weapons weight should be at the centre of mass, no matter where it is placed.
Also, perhaps the use of some trim tabs? I've flown many aircraft that have to be flown at a set speed in order to stay level because they pitch up when you give it full throttle, which means you have to fight against the aircraft in order to continue level flight. Trim tabs could get rid of this problem. Perhaps add a button that automatically tries to keep the aircraft level? I probably didn't explain that well, so I'll leave a link which will hopefully get my point across better: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trim_tab
@ramjet No problem. I have a similar project that uses a launch platform (which mainly consists of VTOL engines), which rotates to point a projectile in a certain direction (it's fired by throttling in conjunction with activator 1). It reaches a top speed of about 6,000 mph and gets to an altitude of about 700,000 feet.
Need to replace the structural wings with ones that can have control surfaces on though. But I've got a backlog of other aircraft I need to upload so it'll be a while before I upload the final version.
That's their problem, not yours. I don't see why you need to start all over just because people expect you to be like everyone else. It's a game, not a living. If they want fancy looking aircraft, they should either make the aircraft themselves, or pay you to make them. The idea that you should make athletically appealing planes because you have a high rank is nothing short of stupid.
@LordofLego. Ignore them. Sounds like stereotypical advice, but they'll only come back and start trolling again.
If they're complaining that your aircraft aren't complex enough, just ask them what the game is called... The clue's in the name: "Simple". A lot of my designs are just that, simple. I'd rather make something fun and quirky in design that flies well, than something that looks pretty but flies like a cabbage out of an canon and is about as interesting as an episode of EastEnders.
Judging by your designs, your not like the latter. So I comend you for that, keep up the good work!
@LordofLego Well, complaining just causes a toxic environment. Not going to lie, but it's a great plane to fly when it's not pitching up violently. Think I'll check out some of your other aircraft, seemif they fly nicely too!
@jefferman, did what you said and moved the wings forward a block, changed the aerofoil shapes on both the wing and the tail and I may have tinckered the centre of mass.
I love how you just added a load of engines... Yet somehow it still flies XD
@Akshay25 I know, I'm following your aircraft page thingy. You'll have to wait a bit though, currently on the train and will be for the next couple of hours XD
And thanks for the upvote too!

@Akshay25 took a long time. I started it last week and have been doing bits and pieces for it since.
Glad you like it. It wouldn't have been possible without your design though!!
@Akshay25 Thanks again!!
I made some changes with regards to the engine placement and the canard/nose area. Would it be okay if I uploaded it and credit you for the original design?
I love the design of this aircraft. It pitches up a lot when on full throttle though, other than that though, this thing is pretty awesome.
@Akshay25 Thank you very much! I don't think I've ever constructed something that is just for looks, I'd feel like I would be spamming if I did! XD
@Jasperjl thank you! I might get round to making a more mobile friendly version, but I'm currently working on another project.
Making a Hex-copter thing that I can actually fly! (Most ones I've made seem to fall out the sky after take off due to handling problems!)
@marco155 Thank you! I've made a few aircraft here and have got a backlog of aircraft I need to upload. Should be unloading a couple more today though!
One of the only copters I can actually fly successfully!! XD
@General360 thank you! I had another aircraft planned as a mothership, but the scale of it caused large amounts of lag. So I moderfied an existing plane. May upload it once I've got rid of the lag problem though!
A simple but somewhat satisfying plane to fly. Also, love how the engines fly off when you press activator 1!
Changing the jet engine type would be good too liked:
Would be good if each engine set have the option for thrust vectoring nozzels on a chosen axsis(es).
@Hyperion6 I was tempted to just title it "Irony". Thought it might be pushing it a little though!
@JovianPat That would be something! Somewhat doubt a 597 point person would have the capability of producing something worthy enough for that!!
However, it has become my most upvoted aircraft! Speaking of which, thank you for the upvote!

@dsr1aviation @XVIdarkLithium Thank you!
@XVIdarkLithium here you go!
what speed would you recommend going too? And in what way can the bombs be improved though appearance?
@XVIdarkLithium I don't take constructive criticism to heart, although that doesn't mean to say I don't take it seriously!

@Stingray Thank you, I've got the same bombs implemented on the jet powered version I'll be uploading.
@dsr1aviation Thank you. Much appreciated feedback.
@CarterIndustries That's a terrible idea! I wouldn't do that in a million years.
@Warhog626 I nearly did the same myself, but adding loads of detachers lags my device, that and I've got a few other planes in my inventory that carry bombs.
@StudentAV8R thank you! Compliments are always welcomed, asmis constructive criticism!!
Go for it. I've found that modernising aircraft can improve the aircraft's performance, makes them look nicer too. Also, thanks for the upvotes!!
@Skua. Just to throw a spanner in the works. Isn't the helium in airships pressurised?

It does look like a tiny version of it. But damn, this thing is fast.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed flying it. For some reason I really like using the Fly-By View when using it.
Also, thank you for the upvote!
So does yours, hence why I made a different variant. Tried to keep the same sort of sleek/modern design to it.

Sorry got the wrong end of the stick. Think I may have fixed it.
@LordofLego, what speed were you flying it at for it to pitch downward? Above 200+mph, the aircraft pitches upward.
To be fair, I thought it looked pretty decent... There's no pleasing some people.
I like how the parasite plane follows a similar design to the carrier aircraft.
@Rambo1050 TV means thrust vectoring :)
Interesting concept, quite fun to fly too! 4 Stars.
Thank you! Great to here you like it!
