@XjayIndustrys Hey, so, the latest update of the game has fucked up my game (somehow), and the lag is unplayable, especially for testing purposes. I'll keep tweaking through this time, but IDK if I can deliver for now. Sorry!
@AudioDud3 Was tempted to add thrust vectoring, but when I did it didn't work out well. I'll have a new line of crafts that experiment with thrust vectoring soon though.
@AudioDud3 I like going simple, though I'm getting into making more detailed crafts. My first overly done craft was this: https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/Wdhtl0/Bluejay-F-44-Foxhound
Hope you like!
Anyhows, you need it rotated X, Y or Z? And have you tried downloading and using the Fine Tuner mod? You can edit X Y Z and even sizes of unsizable parts in game with it. It's pretty simple to use, and I've recently switched to it from craft file editing. https://www.simpleplanes.com/Forums/View/252462/Beta-Fine-Tuner-Mod-Fine-tune-position-and-rotation-without-leaving-the-edito
This is a handsome jet, and a VTOL as well, but there's issues with part clipping, mainly with the wings clipping through, and that the turn-time is horrid. I won't diss the speed considering it's using only VTOL engines, but maybe next time add a normal engine on the back to get a good speed.
@LockheedMartinAerospace Are old designs acceptable or naw? Also, how the hell do you make a plane a successor? I have a few designs I'm working on now that could work with this but IDK how to set them up.
@LAGDragon Thanks. Getting more into 'weird' designs now. :P Also, why haven't more people used the inlets for fuselages and such? It's so great and can get sexy paint designs~
@Adrian83 Thanks! And yeah, it's not really meant for sea-level. High-altitude best altitude and all that. The successor will be built for mach 3+ both at sea-level and at high alt, though. As for the structural and COM aspects, I'll keep those in mind. I suppose a good fix for this craft at the moment is to just grab the nosecone and add some weight to it if you don't mind the extra baggage. I just wanted to cut back on weight as much as possible while still keeping a relatively stable COM. This is my initial, fully functioning design for the moment. I suppose a second combat variant will be coming out sometime as well, so I'll be sure to make it more suitable for low-alt engagement.
If anyone has any issues with the plane, please post here! I'm already starting work on a successor meant to go Mach 4! Any criticism or tips would be appreciated!
@destroyerP @Dllama4 @Feanor @Jettstorm @LAGDragon
Thanks everyone! If anyone has any comments on how to make this better, either visually or in abilities, please feel free to leave them! Criticism would be great! Also, what do you all think of the engine design/color I have? I really like the dark bronze sort of color, but I'd like to figure out a way to make it more detailed without looking stupidly overdone.
This is an exceedingly awesome aircraft. It flies pretty decently well, and the VTOL is perfect. The design is epic, and that front landing gear is a work of art. My only issue with this is the lack of a proper engine, and the drastically slow flight speed. Using RCS as turning mechanisms is fine and all as well, but -needing- them in flight is a different matter, but that's mainly my puritan views on the matter. Still, this is -excellent-. Better then most of my old crapola! Great job!

Just to let you all know, I created another version of this plane I think you all would enjoy.

@LAGDragon I based it off of my earlier https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/0TrF6j/Bluejay-FA-4-A2-Dusty
I wanted to explore wing designs even more, and this came out of it.
@LAGDragon That's a good idea on it's own. I was playing around on another prototype and found an issue in that apparently if the weight is too low and back it fucks with it. I have no clue why the plane pulling to the right would happen because of it. I'll see if I can get that to work later.
@ShatSlanger Aye, I have. It's still the same problem. The wing is just not working for me. :/ Also, thanks! Light fighters FTW!
@LAGDragon Tried that, wouldn't work. I have no clue where I'm going wrong. :/ Might just add a weight or something on the other side and see what to do with that.
@CALVIN232 I've tried to do so several times now. Hasn't worked. :/
@ShatSlanger might just be a bit of a bug for me only then. Can anyone else confirm it works or doesn't work for them?
I like where you're going. Remember to use SHIFT + WASD to get advance movement so you can inlay things a bit easier, and don't have parts sticking out like sore thumbs.
This is a very interesting and busy design, however I can't seem to actually take off without the plane suddenly slewing and trying to go backwards and promptly crashing. I messed with the turrets as well, and they seem to blow themselves up. If you could fix this, it'd earn my upvote!

@XjayIndustrys Hey, if you want I can throw on some landing gear for you and some XML-modded parts. Just ask what you want and I'll try to put it on!
It's adorable! I love it!
@BaconRoll Might as well make this a multi-national effort! :D Also, woot! So many delicious points!
For you, @BaconRoll!
Can this count as a late entry as well? :P
@JettStorm
+1Here you go~!
@JettStorm @BaconRoll I'm working on your guy's things now. ^_^ Should have Jett's up today. Bacon will be sometime over the weekend. Keep a look out!
EDIT: SO I MAY HAVE LIED A BIT. PREPARE YOUR BACON, BACON!
Yo @JettStorm! I can try. Got any you want turned over specifically? I'm getting into adding more detail as well, so give me a request or something!
Take my points and become the best!

@LAGDragon Instead of just posting a nosecone, I made a plane.
https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/apgI7i/Bluejay-Su-22-Sobaka Have at it, comrade!
@ShockRF Ah, okay, sorry! I just threw some words into google translate until I got something that sounded cool.
Will be working on a turn-fighter later, will be modded probably. Stay tuned!
Also, praise be Russian Bias.
@LAGDragon Treat them well darnit!
Anyhows, I'll get onto that later. Will make sure to get x y z.
@LAGDragon
Here you go buddy! Let me know if it you need anything else!
@LAGDragon Alright. I'll make a bunch of turned parts for you (and any other mobile user) later when I have free time. Keep on a look out.
@LAGDragon Hey, thanks buddy!

Good job! I really like what you did with this!
Now comes in four different styles of clanking!
No seriously I don't know what I did wrong please make the sounds stop HALP
I'm a simple nerd. I see Star Wars, I upvote.

Meme me harder, @Multidimensional !
@ShockRF Thanks~. Would you be interested in seeing more designs like this?

Surprisingly well done for a beginners single-engine aircraft! Good job!
Tiger 131! I would give my left nut to see that baby live at Tankfest!

@MailboxIsMyGender Thanks for the upvote and all, but just wanna say, your username is bloody awesome.
To those that actually know German, should the F in IKF be there, or should it only be IK?
@Treadmill103 Thanks! This was definitely a bit of a different build then normal.
@NativeChief1492 Alright! Thanks!
That is such an odd nose LOL. I love this whole thing, looks amazing!

@RAF1 You're welcome! Panzer Vor!
I like the idea! Now make it a -fleet- of B52s and you got a deal.
