So some history while we wait on the desc. Messerschmitt Me-1099 (on which this plane is obviously heavily based)
Proposed advancement of the Me 262 put forth in January 1944. The Me 1099 heavy fighter/destroyer would retain the vertical and horizontal stabilizers as well as the main wings of its predecessor while having a new enlarged fuelselage. Power plant was to be 2 Junkers Jumo 004c turbojets. A crew of two or three sat in a redesigned cockpit. Armament was to consist of 4x 20mm cannons (2 placed just behind the cockpit and 2 in barbettes located near the tip of the tail like the Me 410) and one 30mm cannon. A night fighter version was also proposed to be equipped with radar and extra 30mm cannons. Max speed was to be around 512mph (825kph)
I tried to fix it but no dice. Still wanted to roll left. I did take the gyro off tho. However, even with new gear and with it not retracted. I suggest taking the wings off and testing bare stock wing surfaces. Perhaps do the same with the tail.
@KayzLc some guy made a modded wing that’s controlled with the vtol function. Unfortunately it acts like ailerons when you mirror it, so u have to manually invert the controls on one wing.
Do the guns work firing through the prop? I’ve had trouble getting them to work. They used to work fine but now the prop gets shot off after like three rounds.
@EliteArsenals24 various types of bombs from different countries, e.g American 50 to 100 lb bombs. British torpedoes. Ruhrstahl kramer X-something. Fritz X. USA had something like a fritz X called the “Bat”. Tallboy or grand slam bombs (12,000 and 22,000lbs respectively). Bouncing bombs (dam buster)? Etc. do a little research into WWII munitions and I’m sure you’ll find something interesting.
if you are going to put fuel on the engines, at least put it in an easily removable fuel cell. Having all this fuel in the engines is going to mess with peoples CG. Leave it up to other people to add fuel.
Otherwise this is a really cool idea!
@MI oof no I did not. I started this a while ago when you posted the original design, just got around to finishing it. And besides did you mount the missiles internally in a working missile bay?
Brilliant execution of one of the craziest ideas known to mankind. Well done sir!
Hey thanks! @Trainzo
@Denniscx i dunno why they had it that way. They just did. Just look it up if ya dont belive me.
@OC3LOT1142 thank
Hmm... @AnoniMosu. Mebbe.
@F104Deathtrap thank.
I just did this on iOS. Here’s what happened.
@DestinyAviation I know you know I know. You are the one who built it after all.

Lol u can’t hide the fact that this is an F-35 m8!
Oof roasted @Chancey21

@RMark1 oof. Thanks tho.
@BeefyBoy4516 it’ll come up as a successor. So I don’t need to link it.
@BeefyBoy4516 sure, when its done.
I’m on it. Mind if I use it this for a challenge? I’m going to change it quite a bit.

Thks @AdlerSteiner I spent too much time on this one tbh.
Uhh @FgFg... you know “07” is like a salute?
@FgFg :P
;) @FgFg
@EliteArsenals24 no rush just curious. This is one thing that rushing will not help! I look forward to it’s completion tho.
Owo

WWII weapons set next??

Easily the most accurate. Proportion wise at least and just a few feet larger than the actual thing. Nice work.
I’m guessing tailless aircraft are allowed?
What’s with the coloring?
@TTHHSSSS u ever try sp as a proving ground?
@TTHHSSSS I am 18.
Very good detail, fuselage is a little squashed i.e needs to be taller. A common similarity with planes here on SP
Never had the misfortune of seeing one of these but if I do I know ill be prepared!
Is this engine about the same size as the stock radial engine?
Hmmm I have a thing I could use this for...
@Mustang51 yes sir its on the planned project list!
Oof
I like the fuelselage m8
OOF I was literally just watching ur video yesterday!!!
I like how cartoony it looks!
WOW fantastically scale! The kind of stuff I aspire to!
I'm bringing smexy back!
@MI OWo??
@MI oof no I did not. I started this a while ago when you posted the original design, just got around to finishing it. And besides did you mount the missiles internally in a working missile bay?
Wow that's a lot of change
Yeah I could've done that too if I knew how to XML. besides how I have the landing gear gear is original from the plans I made this from@Liquidfox.
Absolutely exeptional! Looks very much to perfect proportions!
@Liquidfox oof I need to figure out xml. Or I probably could have just added more wings.
Oof @DOX.
