@asteroidbook345 On small scales they are fine, the problem woud be if you bring it to a hindenburg sized scale, pressurization seems fine, but you`ll need to land, and if you want to cross any harsh weather in your landing you will end up encountering some problems as icing and downdrafts, which again are one of the biggest airship-killers.The "Cruise ship of the skies" definition seems pretty accurate ( Cruise ships sure seem okay with delays)
One problem with airships I found is their dependancy on "good" weather, wind has a greater effect on them than fixed wing aircraft (As they are bigger) and most airships downed in the interwar period were in stormy weather, now we know about windshear and downdrafts are able to push aircraft and airships down greatly, fixed wing aircraft have tha advantage of moving faster, which mean they spend less time on the downdraft.
Technology now sure allows for weather radars to be aboard airships but isnt quite nice to have to wait for calm winds over your destiny. Bare in mind this isnt like aircraft that can land with mildly strong weather, its an airship doing less than 100mph (160 km/h).
Now blimp technology sure must be looked at again, having a smaller fuel cell with some semi-wings in order to improve the energy spent on lift, being smaller allows for some speed still to be achieved.
Cool,
The bulge underneath is, apparently, a turbocharger, using the high pressure exhaust fumes to compress the air intake, increasing the amount of air available for combustion
@LancasterAce That must be either extreme sarcasm (in wich case you will be treated under north korean law, wich places sarcasm as a crime punishable under death penalty) or a pledge...
Nice,destroyer escorts need a bit of a redo to keep up with the beast though.
And maybe a modern task force attack mission like in Red Storm Rising?
Possibility for reverse rotation on the main rotors (to make counter rotating rotors)?

@DeathStalker627 Cool, many thanks
Will you post a video on how to make this?
Seems like a usefull way to make a SS-N-14 type ASW missile.
Very creative gizmos!
