@jquinn88 I would say props yours is the best of the bunch, obviously @Nickasaurus won the unlimited category, would have liked more entrants to be honest.
Stick a tall nose wheel on this and its significantly better, flies well enough just it didn't like leaving the ground in its first guise due to the flat profile on the ground.
@Nickasaurus as it is now without the bombs it's sea ditchable (or at least the Trainer version was), sinking slowly with the nose up, I'm unsure as to making it a viable seaplane as we don't want to encourage the use of sea water as a landing strip.
@LjSpike That's fine if you actually put the rotators in the wing but these are in the fuselage so don't move with the wing. I've put them in the wing before and I've flipped and rotated the wing backwards also as you may have seen in previous aircraft I've uploaded. Concept is to keep the wings as narrow as possible.
Tish, only 3K mph I thought you where building something fast, massive requirements to stop it though as you are looking at 500mph landing speeds if you want adequate speed for control.
@Nickasaurus aesthetic mods are fine, engine mods/fuel mods will probably get you in the unlimited class and up against the 10+ engine behemoths that I guess someone will make.
@Garuda1 not that I'm aware of, I just jumped in.
@LjSpike you wanted a twin folding wing design......

Russian copy of a EE Canberra.
Don't think we have a hope in hell of getting these flying, I can't get a 1650lb machine to even move on the runway with these props.
Looks a bit tubby to be a lightning if you ask me, saved it to have a go tomorrow as its bed time.
I would advise against just posting the blurb of wiki though.
Interesting concept well worth more work
Flying version just uploaded
Great inspiration, check out the version I uploaded a couple of hours ago.
@Wildblueyonder578 thanks, have other detachers too, just can't think why I didn't use them on this aircraft.
I don't think you want to stabilize, light controls and it fly ok.
Some roundals on https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/J67qpn/Gladiator
Stone always, so much more of it about.
Not sure I would have used orbit cams, it's getting a bit juddery on my tablet as well otherwise excellent.
@Nickasaurus just for you and anyone else that wants to download it.
Great plane but not yours and its not adding anything, try building your own.

A few tweaks to make it a little better.

Was very excited to see this, a little room to improve.
Simple and effective, needs shrouding to make better still.
Modified parts, the attachment point on the rotator has been altered.
@Exumer feel free to use them.
@KerbalVehiclesCompany I know pulling your leg.
A N8 wouldn't break like that, I dropped mine loads a few scratches but it's still in one bit five years on.
Fast and low should be enough in pretty much anything to avoid the SAM's, it's not what you fly but how you fly it.

Nicely done.
@CaesarSeizer As many entrants as you like, the rules are to be able to land at Murphy
@Remy9085 this example 4 parallel blocks front and back, each one 0.25 longer than the other each pulled to the centre line.
Welcome to simple planes, if the C17 is your kind of thing check out my cargo challenge, https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/776sgs/Air-Cargo-Challenge
I like Growlers! There I've said it.
Here's the link https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/776sgs/Air-Cargo-Challenge
Hmmm videos...
@KingDeadshot take off doesn't happen easily you need 85mph and gentle control, as top speed is about 120mph you need a long run to get in the air.
@KingDeadshot what can't you get working?
Makes a fabulous bird skeleton, now stick some feathers on it.
If you like making cargo planes I've got a challenge going on.
Betta as in faster, bit bumpy at 4500mph.
That's awesome looking.
Tish, only 3K mph I thought you where building something fast, massive requirements to stop it though as you are looking at 500mph landing speeds if you want adequate speed for control.
Thanks for the first entry.
Great concept but falls apart under load.

@gonny yes the cargo should be carried by the plane in one piece.
@LjSpike you wanted it.....
@LjSpike just made you the inlet you wanted.
Needs the balance fixing but otherwise excellent.
It's pretty cool but doesn't fly well.
