@goodboygoodplane moving the vtol up will make it spin which will stabilize things for you. I launch at vtol just a touch up and the after clearing the launcher, go all the way.
SR, very impressive work. I'll be honest, this thing doesn't look like it should fly at all but not only does it, it's maneuverable and with excellent VTOL characteristics. Kudos.
Nice lines but I see what you mean about the handling. I made one of these too but using a launch pad so as to achieve the mach 3+ speed.
On a side note, as a scifi fan, take a look at my bird of prey. Thought you'd enjoy.
@Authros, that's exactly what I do as well. I also have a version that starts in forward thrust mode that I use more as a STOL. Only real difference is that when you switch to vertical, the air brakes deploy to simulate opening the top intake.
@Ladiesman, that's awesome that you got it to fly. I haven't gotten around to playing with it further. To upload, while you're in the "lab" working on the ship, go to menu and click share.
Thanks for the suggestion Thomas. I've had no problem with water landing but it does take lots of air brake. There are also 4 med engines in the fuselage, some of which could easily be removed
@TheDocHoliday Ya I started with the Yak 141 and went from there. F35 would be cool.
@chemicalau, FYI, X-wing posted
@chemicalau, should be able to make an xwing no problem, I'll work on it tonight
@Austinowen You have to do some clever rotating of the blocks ie. place it transversely and then rotate it in to place.

Amazing work guys
@Hyperion6 thanks, also as an experienced builder, can you look at my most recent share/plea for help and see if you have any thoughts?

@Geebers I recently made a p-61 if you want to take a look. Not quite this level of replica though.
@semedolasPT, I don't but have heard good things about the game
@goodboygoodplane what do you mean?
Absolutely gorgeous. My favorite WWII fighter. And love the landing gear retraction.
Nice, take a look at my version and see what you think.
@Stingray, Go for it. I find if you throttle to only about 50%, you should be able to launch fine.

Nice work. Take a look at mine and let me know what you think.

Gorgeous F-14. I feel the need, the need for speed.
Nice work, take a look at my P38 and see what you think (it was pre-beta so a little less smooth).
Thanks @Authros, @ZFM99, @Allstarship. I worked hard on this one to make it just right and am happy with the results.
Very nice, love the out board motors
@Tristar1011 Of course, enjoy.
Nice, though looks quite similar to the uboat that it's based upon.
@Airdude Agreed,a retractable boom would be very cool. Easy to make it extend but retraction would be trickier.
Beautiful
Like you said takes some practice to pilot but lots of fun.
@Zing2000 Thanks, awesome contest. Also, props on Poseidon's Glory; killer boat.
Beautiful work
Really creative stuff
Great work
@Stingray Thanks. The flying is difficult anyways so you might not be missing out on much. Still fun to play with all parts if you're able.
Very cool. You've inspired me to make my own Serenity; perhaps more model and less flying.
Nice tilt rotor, take a look at my version of its baby brother.
Nice looking fullback, take a peek at mine and see what you think.
Gorgeous
@Nick161999 Thanks Nick, super helpful.
@Stingray, uploaded a new air-worthy version of the starship. Take a peek. Still a little sketchy in the air.
@Ladiesman, that's awesome that you got it to fly. I haven't gotten around to playing with it further. To upload, while you're in the "lab" working on the ship, go to menu and click share.
Great looking Zero
@Zing2000 I will for sure, looks interesting
Very cool idea
@Skywinky smaller what?

Great work, saw you posted this right after I posted a model of Voyager. Similar flight problems...
Very cool idea
Nice plane. Take a look at my f-22 if you get a chance and see what you think.
Nice, interested in seeing what comes of this.
Love the plane and love your interpretation.
@Cjredwards good call adjusted up a half block on both the ea6 and a6 with good result.
I can't really get this to function well but the idea and concept is very cool.
