@MaliciousMuffin my dear friend..... you think you are right, yes it was painted silver sometimes but a lot of the time it was green it seems like it was always painted silver because that is the most famous of its paint schemes, so you see people paint their models that paint scheme and things like this on SP so it makes it look like it is an even bigger majority of the B-17 was painted silver
