The Stratocracy of Skypark is a small nation south of the separate state of the Wright Islands. Boasting great military power for a relatively small state, Skypark is one of the more powerful states in the group of islands it's part of. Skypark has been around for some time, though not as long as the Wright Islands, and in that it has part of some of the most significant conflicts in the region. Early on it was known as Berlingschon, but after a major world wide war the name was changed after a military takeover due the government slipping far into corruption. However, unlike a lot of government overturns by the military, this actually was for the better, as the military leaders improved on the mistakes of the old government, even making Skypark better then before. Rapid leaps in technology allowed it the quickly catch up with surrounding states, and in some areas, surpass them.
