Background
(Very early 154 prototype during trials in the 60’s)
The FV Corp 154 was an MBT designed in the 1960s, with mobility and firepower in mind. Due to this, the tank lacked heavy armor, but made up for it with its high top speed and decent gun, which was eventually upgraded to the HVT/T 100V3 in the M5-9 models. The last major production variant, the M9, also incorporated extra armor plates on the hull front and turret sides, as well as a separate IR spotlight for the commander, which was placed on next to the Anti-Air machine gun. Production of the FV Corp 154M9 stopped in the late 80s, but they are still used for fire support missions, and have been exported to buyers around the globe, as a cheap, reliable platform.

Notes
- this is obviously heavily inspired by tanks like the leopard 1 and AMX-30 (I love em)
- because of the guns clipped together, accuracy is not 100% every shot. It’s a kinda cool effect I guess, and better than not being able to hit a target at all
- make sure to move the turret slightly off center to the right when opening the crew hatches, so the driver’s hatch won’t get stuck on it (it’s a bit buggy for some reason)
- the glass add-on armor actually works against basic shells, if you get hit by an explosive shell though…
- ok bye
Enjoy!
