Some Random Yapping:
After witnessing the category 1 disaster in the form of the Jaguar Type 00 and the slogan "Copy Nothing", I began to wonder if that statement is really true. I then decided to peek back into the UK automotive history and found this car.
The Aston Martin Bulldog, designed in 1979 by William Towns, is Britain's answer to Italian wedges such as the Lamborghini Countach and De Tomaso Pantera. It featured a 5.3L twin turbo V8 from Vantage producing more than 500hp. With unapologetic styling and luxurious interior, William Towns called it "the Ultimate supercar". Another notable work of his during that time was the 4-door sedan Aston Martin Lagonda, which had a similar bold and quirky design.
However, the car's performance was not exactly what William Towns had envisioned. It was originally designed to reach more than 200mph. But the engine technology at that time, combined with the terrible aerodynamics of the design (Cd=0.31), resulted in a top speed of only 187mph or 300km/h. It was not until a complete rebuild, which upgraded the engine to 700hp, that the car reached 200mph. The heavy weight of 1750kg or 3860lbs meant the car's handling was sluggish compared to other contemporaries. In the end, only one example was made and sold.
I chose to build this car because of its weird ugliness. It is so unapologetically ugly that it overflowed my senses and made me think it looks okay. The edginess of the design feels like the designer's warcry towards nature's law: "I have so much power that I do not care that I am not aerodynamic." However, I cannot say the same about the Jaguar Type 00. That car is just sad on multiple fronts. If Aston Martin were to build an electric car just to mock Jaguar, I think they should build a restomod of this car. The electric powertrain will resolve the packaging issue of this design and bring about even crazier power. The handling can also be improved with active aero, suspension, and torque vectoring. The interior will also be more practical with a combination of modern LED screens and buttons.
Despite its straight look, the car is secretly filled with curves. The complex interior, engine, and suspension also contributed to the part count. I am certain that I will not build such a detailed car for a while.
Hope You Enjoy!

@blt Wow, that means your family must be cool and love cars. I actually planned to make a potato De Tomaso Pantera a long time ago. But I never got to make it due to its potentially complex shape. Oh well, now I have teased it, I must try to make it.
@Ownedpilot Alright the moment De Tomaso was mentioned you reminded me of a car that my family once owned. The Mangusta Qvale. If you think this car is cool…dude. You will love this thing.
Pretty blocky tbh
Nice build btw
the wheels are cool as hell by the way
@Ownedpilot yeah
@SPMistatopi I can see where this comment is coming from, as the aesthetics of the Cyberpunk universe is based on the styling of the 70s. However, I do not think such a clean design fits the Cyberpunk universe well. Perhaps I could redesign this car to give it a more cyberpunk look for my proposed resto-mod.
@KSB24 Thanks for your encouraging comment.
not just rivals mine, but it absolutely outdone me already
@KSB24 @Tingly06822
Finally made a car that rivals your levels of detail.
the type of shi you drive in cyberpunk 2077 :
