If your aircraft does not meet the rules will be disqualified

  • VERY IMPORTANT! The design and behaviour of the aircraft must be more realistic what you can;
  • VERY IMPORTANT! Your plane can not win this reference plane into a dogfight. This is an agility limit.
  • Avoid using mods. XML is allowed and expected, except: drag, gravity, health and infinity fuel;
  • The entry must be a successor of this post, original and not copy of other players;
  • Any entry with less than 125 parts and more than 450 parts will be disqualified;
  • Jets or modern props are allowed
  • Any entry without description will be disqualified;
  • The weight of the details can be 0;
  • Your aircraft must be a replica or fictional jet fighter;
  • You must use the weapons and missiles provided in this post;
  • 4 x Guardian missiles max (Provided in this post);
  • 1 x minigun or 2 wing guns max (Provided in this post);
  • 1 x Flares parts and 1 x Chaff parts allowed;
  • Each contestant may submit up to 3 aircraft;
  • Max speed at 100% throttle: 800 mph at 20.000 feet aprox.;
  • Max-Length: 40 ft
  • Max-Weight: 22,000-28,000 lbs
  • Max-Fuel: 1500 Gallons
  • Landing gear required;
  • The description is mandatory and it will be specified: 1) Year of introduction, 2) Manufacturer, 3) Options and specifications;

It will be judged

  • Handling, stability, agility: 20 points :: Fly level? is stable? its agility is within the parameters for an airplane of its time
  • Realistic model and behaviour: 30 points :: It is a realistic airplane design for the time. It has a noble behavior in flight
  • Details, paint and accesories: 10 points :: The details are well integrated into the plane? The details do not protrude too much? Do you have a good color combination? Do you have accessories such as fuel tanks, moving parts, or special elements?
  • Build quality: 10 points :: The quality of the construction is good, the details have been taken care of, it looks good, it is well built
  • Personal impression: 10 points :: I like it or I do not like it ... has it exceeded my expectations?

Tournament combat phase

  • All the planes fight against each other with single Elimination brackets method;
  • The battle bracket will be randomly assigned;
  • The defeated planes stop fighting in the tournament;
  • All battles will be AI conducted on High physics;
  • There will be 1 long-range combat, 1 medium-range combat and 1 short-range combat in each bracket;
  • Each opponent shoot down will add 1 points to the final score;
  • All combats will be record and publish in Youtube Video;

Tips

  • Try to make your best plane. There are many factors that can make you a winner. If you're not good with the details, maybe you're good with the flight behavior;
  • Normally the most balanced plane wins with good performance and realistic design. In this challenge, unreal aircraft will not be accepted;
  • If you have doubts, ask what you want;
