Notes

This ATL-98C are one of the projects that have benefitted on the DC-8-32 project. Although majority of the FT were incorporated into this aircraft prior to the release of the DC-8-32 EA, it was also very crude with some FT running not as effective as the recent iterations being used on current projects. FT such as the Autopilot Trim and Startup sequence.

Speaking of the Startup Sequence, the pitch control of the propeller blades had to be set in manual since automatic pitching causes the plane to roll ahead due to how the throttle FT was coded, so on first iteration its a rather basic:
((Throttle / 2) - 0.05)
However, after reading about constant speed piston engines, the FT had to be revised three times until it can properly function:

clamp((smooth(Throttle, 1)), 0, 0.5) -
clamp((PitchAngle / 90), 0, 0.4)

Before, I was planning to dress the Carvair in British United Air Ferries, but that would be too obvious, so instead I dressed this Carvair in a Canadian carrier prominent in the maritimes: Eastern Provincial Airways. Perhaps next time I'd make another Carvair in BUAF livery, who knows?
