What I mean is the missile will still lock on the target even tough it's not in the aiming circle. It can lock everywhere so I can install a very powerful AA in my planes. Thanks!

xml edit the missile, go to the missile tab and create maxTargetingAngle, change the value to 360 (180 or 90 should do too, but more than maximum won't change anything)

@Armyguy1534 Now that leaves a question for me, is there a possibility to change it so that it had intervals of not being able to lock onto something? For example, it can fire directly forwards and backwards, but fail to lock onto something directly above or below it?
