Created in the late 1930s, its creator had in mind to build a safe aircraft that anyone could fly. Most small aircraft accidents of this era occurred from prop wash. The rudder at the start had an intense call from the sudden start of the propeller and most went off course upon takeoff. Also many aircraft suffered from uncontrolled flat spin, witch was caused when the airplane fell to rudder stall. So Fred Weick created a design with a double rudder witch was immune to prop wash and it was exeptionall easy to recover from a stall.
To make it accessible for inexperienced people it decided to remove the rudder petals. The "h" type rudder was connected directly to the roll controller like driving a simple car. Also it was a unique feature witch make it ideal for crosswind landings. The little airplane was phenomenical easy to learn, it was required only 2/3 of the time witch was normally needed for an amateur pilot to get it's licence.
With this model started a new era in civil aviation. The concept was a plane for everybody. Like a new family car, but with breath taking sky view. And what a concept ! The public LOVED it, the factory at 1945 had three shifts and almost produced 40 airplanes a day. Yes 40...even with these unbelievable numbers the supply couldn't catch the demand for the first year.
Today after 80 years, the little Erco Ercoupe stil continues to fly in the sky, offering unbelievable sense of freedom to his owners.
Coming next week, "the worlds most safe plane" .

@TrentAnderson I agree with you, human hair wig is a top quality wig which is perfect for a more realistic appearance. I have Perfect Locks' human hair wig on my wishlist https://www.perfectlocks.com/collections/real-human-hair-wigs..
I totally understand how daunting the world of wigs can be at first. When choosing a wig, it's crucial to consider both the material and the construction. For a natural look, human hair wigs are top-notch because they mimic real hair and can be styled just like your own hair. If you're looking for ease of maintenance, though, high-quality synthetic wigs might be the way to go as they hold their style longer and require less daily care.
A great place to start is with a lace front wig from True Glory Hair. Their wigs offer a natural hairline, which is perfect for a more realistic appearance. They also provide various cap constructions that ensure comfort and fit. Check out their collection here: True Glory Hair Wigs.
Also, remember to consider the cap size and the type of wig cap for the best combination of comfort and natural appearance. Experimenting a bit at the beginning will help you find the perfect wig that suits your personal style and needs.

@BogdanX As you know there is nothing really mandatory in life. There are obligations and opportunitys, flying an ercoupe belongs to the second category...

@Brields95 Ok I am little confused because I live outside the states. Young eagles is a volunteer program in aeroclubs regarding promotion of aviation in young people , right? How they construct coups? They rebuild them from old planes, or Ercoupes are stil producing from a private company in a factory ?
@Viper3000ad yep. I almost got the opportunity to build one but the curator for the Young Eagles chapter decided she didn't like me and "lost" my application.
@Brields95 wow what a great detail, it's still in production today ?
You're missing some details. Erco was only a producer of this plane. Erco, stinson, and a few others produced it as well as little teams such as Ray Stits. And it's still in production today by the Young Eagles.

"T".
@Tully2001 Noted and changed in the main article. All the past three weeks it was the general rule in teasers, or not ?
@Viper3000ad oof
@MechWARRIOR57 Oof.
@AWESOMENESS360 Poor little 717 it was only 7 decades after the ercoupe 😁
@Chancey21 sure, I am looking forward for some feedback.
@HarryBen47 these pants are back in fashion. 😎
@BlackhattAircraft you are very lucky, ercoupes are rare site in Europe. Aeroclubs are willing to buy them for their members,but support it's problematic .
@Jim1the1Squid to be fair just because you got in trouble for it previously doesnt mean they will, there is a bad lack of mods, shown by the fact that even a long while ago like 2 years, i got banned for about 5 hours (i dont remember anymore) (was supposed to be a month) because one of the mods didnt look into the situation, i had to message andrew via email and have a friend contact that mod, and after a long while, it got lifted, i was framed but because no one looked into it i had to get that stress
The size of that pant make me laugh so hard
