Quick forum thread before I go back to suffering first year.
Just felt that I wanted to thank everyone in this community and the devs for making a game that I always dreamed about possible, and accessible to us. I started playing SP in my freshman year of highschool, since then, the game as evolved quite a bit, and opened my eyes to boundaries of aviation and engineering that I was never exposed to before, either through research before and during a build, or learning from those in the community.
Despite how much I have grown, my english grammar is still as trash as day one, which brings me to my next topic.
As of this spring, I was lucky enough to be admitted to majoring aerospace engineering in a university (which for obvious privacy reasons, I will not be stating). Without the presence of this community, I most likely would not be where I am today.
Thanks for the past three years everyone, I wish everyone success in the next three, and beyond.
Cherish every moment.
I'm still building... just about averaging 2 parts per day. )))
But take your time. No pressure.🙂@BaconAircraft
@AerialFighterSnakes I want dat passing grade.
I want dat FW-190 and dat Cessna!!!
Can you pleeeeease give me a link to you three airplanes (172, Bacon Liner, private jet?) I really want to try them.
Nice man! I started college last year and am majoring in computer science. Aerospace engineering sounds awesome!
Enjoy your studies! In my first year of college, I got inspired to really refine my builds. Of course, I didn’t play SP much at all, but that’s what breaks are for. Study hard, and also set aside some time for fun in your schedule.
Holy cow, that’s amazing. I wish to be an aerospace engineer in the future soon, so I hope you talk about your experiences!
Keep flying, Bacon.
Idk if it matters or not, but you were my (and still are) from the beginning of my SP journey, I remember before I had an account finding the luftwaffle and laughing uncontrollably, I'm so happy that your going into aeronautics and good luck!
Yaaaaaaaaaay, good luck there ma boi!
I always enjoyed your high-quality builds. SP too has greatly expanded my knowledge & understanding of aircraft design & engineering, and what is & isn't possible. I'd love to major in Aerospace Engineering as well but I don't want to stay in college/university any longer than 4 years.
Congratulations
Good Luck!
"where the bloody hell have you been!?"
