Two years ago two of the SCN's founding members left to form a country of their own. In Maywar they purchased several old naval ships. One month ago, once they had gathered five missile cruisers, four destroyers, a battleship and a diesel-electric submarine, they set sail and declared themselves independent under the name of "Ravager Republic".

The Saltwater Navy sent a minesweeper to negotiate an alliance, but as soon as it came within twenty miles of the Ravager Republic it was driven off in a hail of fire which killed three sailors. Four days later the SCN received a declaration of war, addressed to the entire alliance.

A battle group has been formed to eliminate this new threat. We also ask our allies to in fighting the Ravager Republic and keep the peace in the archipelago. The "Alliance Patrol" is nearing the Republic and has been joined by the SWS Kestrel, SWS Euryalus, SWS Eagle and SWS Cavalier.

The SNS New Albany is being withdrawn from the previous patrol, and joining the SNS Clarksville and SNS Azalia to rendezvous with the patrol.
