Gang Wars

Armed gangs on the island of Crokorea have been frequently harassing allied forces occupying the country. Although these rebellions are quickly suppressed by Foreign Service Corps forces with Earthquake ALSs and T-500s they are preventing the smooth and safe running of society and three Saltwater soldiers have been killed in recent fighting.

Torpedo Boat Sunk

At 13:11 the SWS Furious picked up a radar contact. One of the ship's helicopters, a Leonardo Dart, was launched to investigate. Approaching the contact the aircrew identified it as a Crokorean torpedo boat. The helicopter fired a burst of 30mm cannon fire at the vessel, which returned fire, smashing through the fuselage of the attack helicopter. The wounded chopper limped back to the Furious.

Meanwhile a second helicopter, one of the new SAH-46EX Apaches, took off to attack the Crokorean vessel. At a range of 5 miles the Apache fired two laser-guided missiles, sinking the enemy vessel. After a short surface search the helicopter returned to its ship.

This action took place just north of Brightneau. This means that the main Crokorean fleet must be nearby. In an effort to hunt them down the Saltwater Navy is deploying the recently commissioned SWS Leopard and SWS Lioness to join SWS Furious in the hunt. The SWS Euryalus and SWS Upholder are also enroute. They are joined by two minesweepers and three torpedo boats.

Monument Launched

The first vessel of the Monument-class cruisers has been launched by SMC Marine on NovrdLisch. Twenty ships have been ordered by the Parshain Navy and the Saltwater Navy has also ordered five.
